““Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information,” Comey said, adding later, “His then-spouse Huma Abedin appears to have had a regular practice of forwarding emails to him for him I think to print out for her so she could then deliver them to the secretary of state.”

Comey misstated BJ’s wife’s squeeze’s marital status.

“What a load of horse crap.

The fact that she had this server set up to try to dodge FOIA requests is enough.

She knew damn well what she was doing.”

While the emails and who they went to are important (the law WAS broken - no intent was/is necessary), they are - just like the situation with the Russians - JUST A DIVERSION. The REAL question here is...

...WHY DID HILLARY CLINTON HAVE TO HIDE EMAIL MESSAGES?

IMHO, it was ALL about the Clinton Foundation and the bribes (so-called “contributions”) from a bunch of foreigners as well as domestic companies and individuals, hoping to BUY influence with the then-current Secretary of State, and the possible/likely future President. THAT IS THE REAL SCANDAL.

Well, that and Comey deciding that intent was/is a necessary condition to violating the Secrecy Act - it is NOT, just the mere fact of letting people without the proper clearance gain access to information that you are authorized to have IS ENOUGH BY ITSELF to violate the law...it is, in fact, the ESSENCE of the violation.

Let’s see if Congress and the DoJ can walk and chew gum at the same time: First, investigate the emails, THEN investigate WHY the corrupt, old crone had a personal server IN THE FIRST PLACE.

So Huma sent the emails to her husband’s computer so she could print them out? Huh? Then she would have to go home and get them and come back to the office? Or go home and get them and go to Hillary’s house and deliver them?

What was really going on?

” according to people close to the inquiry”

WaPo publishes nothing but rumors these days, that is, unless rumors are scarce, in which case they just make shit up. Unbelievable cesspool of comments there too. They appear to be attracting nothing but paid trolls whose commentary is below the level of obscene junior high school taunts and curses.

However, according to others who are experts on the security of classified information, it would have to be physically removed from the secure location and moved to a non-secure computer to be ‘forwarded’ to anyone. That would indicate that the person who removed the material from the secuire location KNEW they were removing CLASSIFIED material with the intent of distributing it via a non-secure computer.

People are serving prison terms for doing less. So, why are the FBI and DOJ stuck in the mud?

I take it that is a rhetorical question?

The Hillary supporters are being very disingenuous here. They don’t dispute that hundreds, maybe thousands, of Hillary e-mails were on Weiner’s computer. They are claiming that only a few of those were “forwarded” to the computer by Huma, the rest were automatically backed up to Weiner’s computer. Well, she had to set it up to back up to Weiner’s computer so that’s just a form of mass “batch” forwarding. Pure semantics, Comey didn’t misstate anything.

Hillary did not have a .gov email account to avoid FOIA and allow her communicate in “ secret “

If Huma forwarded emails to Hillary va Huma’s .gov account they would be subject to Clinton FOIA and investigative scrutiny

If documents were forwarded to Huma’s personal accounts and then delivered via hard copy or thumb drive there was no chain of custody to Hillary, unless , of course, Anthony Weiner was stupid enough to co mingle kiddie porn with secret and official State Dept government cables obtained via theft and illegal espionage

But who would be stupid enough to do a thing like that?

Oops.

It's amazing how close they came to getting away with the scheme

And let’s define “far smaller number”. Somehow the WP’s meaning of this term is far different than the average informed person..

Keep in mind as you read this, that these are statements made by the Washington Post, not named FBI and Justice department officials that you can check on. I’d be skeptical!

They make it sound like FBI agents when it is likely Hillary’s lawyer.

Perhaps no difference between the two. I wonder if this leak isn't from senior FBI official Andrew McCabe whose wife ran as a Democrat politician and was given hundreds of thousands of campaign cash from Clinton moneyman Terry McAuliffe.

If I really want the truth, I listen to what an unnamed source mentioned in the Washington Post has to say.

The question I have is this: how much of Obama's Iran Deal was set-up/facilitated via Mrs Clinton?
I also highly suspect that the reason that the prosecution was so quickly dropped, with so little outrage from officials, is because the officials are implicated and therefore linked to the Clinton Foundation. — It's fairly obvious that to engage in as much influence peddling as the Foundation does it would need contacts in high offices: likely members of congress and key personnel in the bureaucracies.

No "close" about it. So far they HAVE gotten away with it.
