A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a weekend incident in which a 68-year-old woman was thrown into an apartment complex pool after she tried to break up a party, the Broward County Sheriff's Office said.
The teen turned himself in to police in North Lauderdale, Florida, at about 5 p.m. Monday, authorities said.

It doesn’t sound so bad... I mean who hasn’t been thrown into a pool. It’s ABC News downplaying the heinous black-on-white crime that actually took place.
A better description would be was body-slammed into the concrete pavement, by the thug, and then thrown, stunned, into the pool, fully clothed and with her two dogs.

I’m guessing that his mama saw that online and came down on him hard. He thought he had body slammed the James lady, I’ll bet she really body slammed him. I gave blood yesterday and because I’m a retired family law lawyer the lady who took me through the process told me her life story which was raising her sister’s five children. She had a few things to say about her sister and how to raise kids. These black mamas, when they are doing what God calls them to do are scary.

Having watched the video, I was disappointed that no one shot the little thug. That little loser is never going to do anything positive for the world.

This is post-Ferguson. No cops would respond to such a call. At least not immediately.

This is insane. The article speculates about possible injuries while neglecting to mention that the “boy” body slammed her into the ground before throwing her in the pool. The video is all over the Internet.
Why are the victims full names given? This is dangerous.
Caught that too. He tried to pick her up and slipped and fell, essentially 'body slamming' her, then threw her in the pool. The crowd was egging it on.
At 68 years old, that would have to hurt. I'm curious if they were residents of the complex or simply invading the pool for their 'party'.
Maybe she thought she was Jane Goodall?
When reached for comment the dogs stated they were eternally grateful the police weren’t called.
