'China must be prepared to TOPPLE Kim Jong-un or WE'LL do it', former US chief claims

CHINA must be prepared to destabilise North Korea and unseat Kim Jong-un – or face the consequences of American intervention, a former US foreign policy chief has claimed.

Condoleezza Rice, who served as Secretary of State during George W. Bush’s administration, claimed China were too concerned about causing the “collapse” of dictator Kim Jong-un.

Ms Rice claimed Beijing must be prepared for “instability on their border” as the US will intervene if the People's Republic of China do not.

She added that “in order to deal with” the warmongering North’s strides towards a nuclear missile capable of striking the US “you have to change the Chinese calculus”.

Ms Rice said: “I think that's what the administration's trying to do.

toppling Kim Jong-un regime is one subject both Trump and Deep State are in full agreement.

Actually, Trump has said he is not pushing for regime change, just defanging North Korea. It is Condi and the neo-cons who in their Ms Ben Ghazi like confusion think that voila - regime change - everything now good. It has worked out nowhere for us since WWII.

I am in full agreement with what you said. She is not corrupt and vile like Hildebeast on a personal level, but what she did as SOS is a disaster, a great strategic blunder.

Well, Kim Jong-un won't let others take away his nuke arsenal. So Kim Jong-un has to go as well, which is basically regime change. They can bring in one of banished princes of Kim family from exile and install him as a new leader. It may give appearance that there is no regime change. Since the new prince now have to follow outsiders' (Chinese or U.S. ) agenda, it is a different regime.

But I agree that it is shameless to the n-th degree that she or other Deep State swamp creatures came out for pushing military assault even though they are the ones who created this mess in the first place.

One will also recall it was Rice who said, and I quote, "Islam is the religion of love and peace"

Because nothing says "love and peace" like killing over 3000 people. /s

Excellent post, AmericaninTokyo. You are spot-on.

So do you want me to bash Bush and Condi as a package?

Don't be silly Cheney was the real President.

Condi was one of Bush’s cabinet I admired. Smart as hell. I also admired Cheney and Rummy. Hated Baker, Rove and thought Bush himself was a squish out of his depth.

But now I see the damage he did.

"Islam is a religion of peace" One of the absolute worst things he did.

Xi has started at home, by isolating those close to NK like Zhang Dejiang and Liu Yunshan.

I’m a little anxious about Rice suddenly showing up all over the place. What’s behind that? She’s a globalist; I certainly hope Trump isn’t recruiting her.

Rumor is that she has her book coming out. So this could be part of her book promotion. If it is more than that, yeah, we should be worried.

As far as I know, Chinese did only those things which can be reversed quickly. They can always go back to where they were. What would they think when they hear that U.S. may be sending 5,000 boots to Afghanistan? Unless this is a brilliantly calculated diversion, it will send a wrong message, “We are counting on you guys. Please do something. We will be busy again in Afghanistan.”
Where is military pressure on N. Korea? Minuteman ICBM’s?

Sooner or later Xi has to act, the question is if we have reached “sooner” or if we still have to wait. My guess is that we are very close to a Chinese repositioning about NK. But, only acts will talk.
