Led Zeppelin fans worldwide have been collectively churning a recent mega-rumor: that the band could reunite for a concert, possibly in 2018, and possibly at the Desert Trip festival in California to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary.
Speculation was set off by a cryptic post to lead-singer Robert Plant's website: "Any time now..."
Then the fire was really set by a brief post at Feel Numb.

saw first three tours in Hampton
Yeah, as I said in my subsequent post I had my timeline mixed up. Zep was a bit like Yes on one way, great musicians but their lyrics never really did anything for me. Certainly never wrote anything lyrically comparable to Won’t Get Fooled Again.
Here is a version of “No Quarter” by my favorite Polish singer, Kasia Kowalska.
I figured any chick who covers “No Quarter” has to be cool.

Still waiting ........listening......
6 Youtube views and two of them are mine.
You can do better.
Agreed!
Why do you care if i care or not?
No question. Townshend's writing blew Zep away.
No. She left Harrison for Clapton. Clapton fell in love with her at Harrison's house when he was there teaching George how to play , "As My Guitar Gently Weeps'.
Tears In Heaven is a song about their (Eric & Patty) young son who fell off a balcony and died in Florida.
BTW...Patty's sister (Jenny) married Mick Fleetwood (of Fleetwood Mac) but left him when she found out about Mick and Stevie Nicks goings on. Same with Christie McVie when she found out about John (her husband) and Stevie.
The whole O2 arena 2007 concert has been on youtube. I watched it just a few months ago. Not sure if it is still there.
I was a little young (only by a few years) but the coolest duet I ever got to see was Clem Clemson and Peter Frampton at a Humble Pie show. Spookie Tooth and Ten Years’ After opened up. Alvin Lee jumped off the stage and confiscated our illicit consummables (after sharing a puff).
I was at Desert Trip last year. Supposedly Zep turned down $14MM to do the gig. The Who were there and Townsend and Daltry absolutely killed it. I think Plant and Page need to save some face here.

Cooper played here a couple of months ago at a small (~1500 people) venue. Tix were under $80.
I believe Page has some Chinese ancestry
Saw Alice Cooper open up for Motley Crue on their farewell tour. Alice was outstanding. He had all of his weird stuff throughout the years. Voice sounded great and he moved around just like when I saw him back in ‘86 when Tesla opened for him.
There is a standing quote in our house. “If Zeppelin does a tour, we will sell a kidney in order to see that”
My wife’s little brother is a huge Zeppelin fan. He took us to see a tribute band a few weeks ago called Zoso. This band was spot on. It was a pretty cool experience. They were supposed to play outdoors but there was severe weather in the area so they moved it inside to this bar that is like a small barn from a county fair ground that was all finished out. It had large windows that were all opened. It seemed like how you would picture a road house type of thing in the bayou. They didn’t sell many tickets so we all stood around the stage and got into the show. This is a band that normally plays larger theaters so it was like seeing Zeppelin in some off the trail bar with cheap beer. It was great fun.
Yeah, but watch out for their pyrotechnics.
Due to their advanced age, the band re-named themselves
“Lead” Zepplin.
The concert will be sponsored by Viagra, with the slogan: “Sex-drugs and rock’ roll.”
“Looks at some of The Who songs that werent considered good enough for their albums: like Water or I Dont Even Know Myself. Their rejects are better than most bands prime material”
Add Pure and Easy and Naked Eye as well.
The assisted living tour?
