Trump has been a great president so far, but this budget sucks about as hard as it could suck

Hopefully he will be true to his word and fight it out in September, if not well then...

MAGA will be a just a speedbump on the road to ruin

We should have passed a line item veto years ago.

I love Trump man, but you would never say something like that when a dem signs a lousy budget.

He’s got VITO power.

It’s when an Italian guy says NO WAY!!

I’m sure he’s focused on getting the HealthCare bill passed at this time.

He couldn’t take on both battles at the same time.

He needs to fight it out AHEAD of September. September would be when he needs to begin VETOING spending legislation that doesn’t meet his requirements (e.g., funds for construction of the border wall.

Time will tell, but I think President Trump is planning on a well-orchestrated “shut-down” in October that will drive the Democrats and their media buddies crazy.

IMHO, it will be THEIR “pet” programs will take the bulk of the spending cuts.

Bye-bye to PBS, contributions to UN, foreign “aid’ to America-hating states, sugar subsidies etc. ad nauseam ...

So.....a bill passing by the skin of its teeth in the House that is immediately dismissed by the Senate gets a full Rose Garden celebration.

Every Executive Order - even ones that just say “Do your job, Agency X” gets a picture with 20 aides and the Vice President looking on in awe.

This gets signed in the kitchen, I guess, probably on Spicer’s back.

Trump has never had to deal with politics at this level.

He’s up against a well healed entrenched mob congress with no allegiance to the American People so much as they can dupe them into voting for them.

Trump has no friends in congress and won’t until they start getting replaced in the mid-terms and beyond.

Trump has been a winner all his life and his resolve is beyond my comprehension.

I’m with Trump on this.

We did.

The Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional in a 6-3 decision with Rehnquist and Thomas in the majority. Scalia viewed the line item veto as unconstitutional but ruled that none of the parties had standing in the case.

Why does no one remember this? It made the papers.

“MAGA will be a just a speedbump on the road to ruin”

I can’t remember when I’ve been this disappointed.

RIP, America. You were a great nation, though who knows if history will report it.

Let's be fair, this isn't new, it's just that we hoped Trump wouldn't be like all the rest.

Personally, I believe he's another ultra-liberal based on following him for decades, but even if I'm wrong about that, I'm not sure anyone could overcome the deep-state/beast.

Well, at least the illegal aliens under DACA can rest easy even if the rest of us can’t.

Yes, we hoped, in the knowledge that if he were like all the rest, we were done.
