A judge has ruled that drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman will be allowed to send letters to his beauty-queen wife, but cannot call or or meet her while he's locked up in a Manhattan jail.

He's supposed to be in front of a Brooklyn judge today.
The judge has to be perfectly clear about what El Chapo can do. If he says Chapo can ‘write’ his wife, does that mean via email? If you use email, you are not far from being able to Skype, or use a camera to see how you’re speaking to.

I missed when El Chapo finally got here. Ted Cruz entered a bill that would use El’s billions to pay for the wall upon conviction. Here’s hoping for a speedy trial.
My stars, if we did use some of El Chapo’s money, it would be just a drop of money from his piles of money scattered through out just one of his houses. I’ve read he has more than one house.

Mexico does allow conjugal visits. But does not allow any American citizen living there to vote or own property in their own name. Let alone get food stamps, energy and housing assistance, free medical care all of which reduces the funds available to American citizens in need because of that Sanctuary State policy.
