There’s a mosque in Brossard, Quebec that’s been a real headache for Canada - and that’s near where this Fadwa Alaoui resides. Claimed she wanted to drive 60 miles from the border to Burlington to ‘buy a toy’ for her son; apparently Canada was out of toys.
She was questioned about which mosque she attended - completely valid, given her proximity to The Islamic Community Centre of South Shore.
My story is the opposite. Was coming back from Vancouver, BC and was detained at the border by US Customs over the purchase of 2 sweaters. I figured the customs agent was dumb and paid downtown tourist price ($450 each) and was pissed because I declared paying only $125 each because I bought mine at some out of the way shop. He kept us there for about an hour even though I had the receipt. This was in 1981.

Crossed into Canada going on fishing trip. When Canadian guard asked where we were from and what our occupation was, my son (A WI State Trooper) said, “Basically, I am in the same business as you”. The guard pulled us over, searched every thing in our vehicle (not our person), detained us for over an hour. When we were allowed to proceed my son said he was PROBABLY looking for a gun. He found NOTHING! By the way that was the last fishing trip I took to Canada as we have better fishing right here in Wisconsin.
Everyone wants to be the abused victim....This is downright bizarre. I get so damn tired of people, especially foreign nationals and minorities bitching about everything and constantly playing the victim role. They ought to go back home immediately so they’ll be happy.
I’m not going to be at all surprised when many of these stories turn out to be completely made up. It’s happened before.
If you ‘loathe America’ don’t visit. I loathe North Korea, so I’m never going to visit it. I’m not going to cry that I can’t visit.

Were I to visit Saudi or Egypt or Singapore or the PRC, I would imagine my travel would be monitored almost by the hour. I don’t think I could file for free anything in any of those places.
Let her go to New Zealand, where you’re gathered up and tossed out if you overstay your visa to there.
A month ago, while waiting to cross into Canada at the Sweetgrass checkpoint, I saw several Canadian vehicles turned back after being denied entry into the US. The Canadians were also doing a much more enhanced screening of US visitors than had been previously done. I’d never been asked my profession or what my license plate number was until this time.
“They treated us like criminals,” Ms. Alaoui said. “Like they have the right to do anything they want.”
So Ms. Alaoui, the fact of the matter is that they DO HAVE the right to do anything they want including telling you to turn your car around. It’s their country, not yours.
Personally, if you can’t come into our country, so much the better.

It turns out that along with our “southern neighbor,” Mexico, Canada has been “living off of our carcass” too. There’s plenty of places to go and things to see right here in the USA, where your spending helps your fellow citizens. And right now, the whole damned world is an unfriendly place, particularly for Americans now that the rest of the world sees that it’s “free ride” off of America is coming to an end. The worlds’ “Politcal Remoras” are searching for another fat ass to attach themselves to, America is in the process of “detaching you” from ours.
Only to be turned away huh. What did the dearie do that prohibited her from crossing into America? It's easy to come into America compared to Canada, or at least it used to be, maybe it's equally difficult if any wrongdoing is on a person's record now...

I got news for ya,you fat moslem pig...when a foreigner like yourself attempts to enter the United States we *do* have the right to know *everything* about you.If you don't like it just stay away from our borders and both you *and* the people of the United States will be better off.
