Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Monday said he expects "a lot of conservatives" will oppose the new spending bill.

"Money goes to Planned Parenthood, as you said. Money continues to go to sanctuary cities, but no money for the border wall," he said during an interview on CNN's "New Day."

"I think you're gong to see a lot of conservatives be against this plan this week."

Some good descriptors of “against” and to what measures they are willing to apply would be nice?

A trillion bucks for five months.

I wish I could say that I’m shocked at their fecklessness.

Was it Avita Perone who said “Don’t primary me Altoona”?

How could a conservative support this turd?

Pelosi and Schumer are co-sponsors.

How could a conservative support this turd?

There are only a handful of conservatives left in the GOP and none at all in the "Deep State."

Conservativism is on its deathbed.

Just once, I’d like to see some of that “we won” spirit on the Hill.

Where Congress is concerned, “we” clearly did not win.

2 words: baseline budgeting.

Until that’s repealed, the rest is a whole lotta sound and fury signifying jack spit.

The problem is not that they are not conservatives. The problem is that they are cowards. They are more afraid of a government shutdown than they are afraid of completely surrendering to the dems on every issue.

Well, I for one am not going to be content with some token resistance from conservatives as this bill sails through Congress. We can dump the RINOs out on their asses in 2018, but in the meantime the opposition I want to see is from Trump via the veto stamp.

We elected him to Make America Great Again, not

- fund Planned Parenthood.
- fund sanctuary cities
- fund the EPA
- fund Obamacare
- not fund the wall.

If these conservatives can’t stop the bill from passing, he needs to. Tell Ryan and McConnell they need to go back and work on a better deal.

This is complete BS. We won the presidency. Our “party” has both houses and we cannot get our agenda through and in fact just have a continuation of the same for another six months. This is beyond absurd. I am beginning to adhere to Vince Flynn’s view in his novel Term Limits (with extreme prejudice)as the way to go.

“the opposition I want to see is from Trump via the veto stamp.”

They are reporting that the Dem and GOP leaderships in congress cut a deal. If that’s the case they will pass the spending bill with a veto proof majority.

Lots of “conservatives” will vote against this bill since it doesn’t matter how they vote LOL!
It’s Kabuki.

But Jordan’s right- it’s a bad Dem/RINO bill all the way.

I hope Trump got enough in exchange for letting the RINOs have this. It is last October’s budget after all.

Obamacare? Planned Parenthood? The Wall? Sanctuary cities? PR Bailout? Enforcement?

Dems must be wetting themselves with laughter.

Looks like we lost the election.

Baby, you better let it shutdown!

Sickening. He needs to get every RINO Senator on-record as voting against the will of the President. Make it clear to the American people exactly who is with Trump and who is against him.

If he buckles now and let’s them off the hook by signing it rather than opposing it, they’ll just cut another deal in September. And another. And another.

Trump would do himself a favor by making them override his veto. IMO
