To: Ciaphas Cain
Not noted in the article: Kenneth Williams got to see his children one final time before his execution because the family of one of the victims paid for the airfare to fly them to Arkansas.

There's been a series of stories in the Springfield News Leader about that part of the story. The victim's family forgave Mr. Williams, and he himself has evidently repented and found the Lord. I think it's an incredibly kind gesture by the victim's family.

I give them a lot of credit. Very Christian.

I don’t believe that putting that man to death and forgiving him for doing what he did are incompatible with each other.

You can forgive someone for something but still require them to be subject to the consequences of their actions.
