Attention-seeking half-brother of Obama posts image of ex-president's 'Kenyan birth certificate'

Barack Obama is no longer president, but the birther movement alleging that he was born abroad still lives – thanks to his half-brother.

Malik Obama tweeted a copy of what he claims is a valid birth certificate proving that his half-brother was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

The 'birth certificate' bears the letterhead of the 'Coast Province General Hospital' in Mombasa.

The sex of the baby is male, and the date of birth is listed as August 4, 1961, which is the former president's genuine birthday.

The 'document' also lists the names of Obama's parents, Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Obama (née Dunham).

Malik Obama is a resident of Kenya and a naturalized US citizen. It is estimated that he has between three and 12 wives thanks to Kenya's legalization of polygamy, according to The Washington Post and CNN.

Last July, Malik Obama told the New York Post that he would be supporting Trump.

This has bugged me from 20 minutes after the COLB was uploaded and it was clear that it was a fabrication! I remember where I was when it was released. I stayed up all night going over it....jk

I am. They're democrats. Throughout my life, dems I have worked with . . well, you fill in the blanks. I really think it's almost a thought disorder or they are suffering from a lack of truthful education and/or simple brainwashing. Somewhere along the line, they pick up an anti-US stance and 'an attitude' about almost everything. Can't argue with them. It's a shame they get to vote. They really are low information voters, whatever the source.

So yes, I think they could have done it and yet think, in typical narcissistic fashion, "Wow, look at that. That's really a piece of work. No one will figure it out. It's awesome!"

Another option is white hats in the CIA did it hoping it might lead to a Real investigation and maybe impeachment. A big maybe.

What...you don't think this "artifact" from this stamp is a perfectly natural occurrence when writing a cursive A? One that hasn't been seen on any other BC stamped with his name? Or, for that matter, any other stamp beginning with a letter A?

Yes, the whole thing is a big question mark. I still think they thought they were so 'good' it wouldn't be any problem. If a problem, it's the usual fallback, plausible deniability, plus the narcissistic factor, plus the other fallbacks, racist and conspiracy theory. MSM in the tank for O when this all came out so, so it's "Just move along now, nothing to see here, vast right wing conspiracy, blah, blah. ."

Also, look at the dates. They're done US fashion (Month/Day/Year), not the expected UK or European way (Day/Month/Year). Obviously fake.

Your other certificate is fake as well. No stamps is a dead giveaway. Why all those strange blank spaces? Why the double XX's? Why is the "II" after the first name, not the last? No penciled-in coding numbers is also suspicious.

A Hawaiian birth certificate issued for somebody not born in Hawaii is not very believable. If it were issued at all, the state would probably want more information than just "Unknown -- Kenya, Africa".

I thought about that, and then realized, the only reason that it was so obvious, is because those in the WH who released it, appear to be unaware of the final, important step. If they had simply printed out the PDF, and then scanned it into a new PDF, all the anomalies would have been removed. The problem with the document, and why it’s so obvious, is that they uploaded the working document, and that could have been a miscommunication, and not pure incompetence.

They may have been nervous, as well. Since this “document” was only put together after Trump made a big deal out of no birth certificate, they whipped one up in a couple of weeks, so were likely not being very careful.

But the smiley face clearly points to other motives, perhaps “in your face” snark, or other as mentioned above.

Where's the original of your BC? Why would you expect a different date format? Eight years ago, I posted multiple examples of the same date formats from Kenya during that same time era. I'm not going to do it again. The fact is, 0bama had another BC because he wrote about it in his book. He also used that same BC to obtain his Massachusetts driver's license, which we also know he had because he had about twenty unpaid parking tickets from Massachusetts when he decided to run for president. So why would he need to get two other versions of his BC from the State of Hawaii? Both PROVEN forgeries. Why ask why?

Apart from all that, consider: not producing a birth certificate early on didn't cost him a single vote, so there was no motivation for him to release it.

All the to-do about his being born in Kenya was something Obama used to make his critics look silly, so it paid off for him to withhold his documents for as long as he did.
