Wake me up when conservatives take to the streets with pitchforks, torches, buckets of tar and bags of feathers. Until then it’s just a lot of hot air.

The RNC has a chairperson? The DNC has one and he’s out talking and promoting his party all the time, the RNC is always so quiet all the time, they hardly seem to exist.

Let’s make the Freedom Caucus and the GOP caucus one and the same.

Job 1: Dump Paul Ryan.

The problem is we vote in what claim to be “patriotic” Americans and then they do an about face and cross the aisle with pockets wide open.

"...reports of GOP leaders “sitting behind closed doors” and laughing at the prospect of building the wall..."

Anger. I feel a very deep, and hardened sense of anger, reading that. Makes me want to say things I ought not say.

Yeah, but where are we going to walk to?

To the same place our forebears did, when they ran out of options in the late 18th century.

It's MAGA, or bust.

This is some of the best comments coming from an RNC chair ever.

An actual admission of the desires of the base and why they need to act on it.

It’s almost like... representative government!!! Imagine that.

>>Yeah, but where are we going to walk to?

If both parties do the same thing, regardless of what they promise during the campaign, then it doesn’t really matter where we walk to.

The best place for us to walk to is Galt’s Gulch. Stop being good citizens. Stop working to get rich and start living to take. The Elites count on us to keep them in power and making money. What happens if we start living like Democrats? What do they do if we start voting for a living too? What if we start burning police cars and breaking windows to get our way?

If they don’t build the wall, they are clearly sending a message that we don’t matter to them except as a labor and tax revenue source. If they won’t build it, we’ve already lost our country.

No wall. No investigation into the Clinton Crime Syndicate, no repeal/replace, no bankrupting sanctuary cities...

I’m done. Running, not walking.

Concur..However, as dissapointed as we are, remember that without Trump, we would have Hillary...at least we can cry ourselves to sleep, rather than lay awake all night.

I can see a lot of Rs staying home with indifference if the wall isn’t built

Voters won't stay home out of indifference if the wall isn't built. They'll stay home out of resignation.

Voting for Trump was our people's last try at fixing this country through the civil systems laid down by the Framers. We'd already given the House and Senate back to the Republicans.

A lot of us said last November, that if this didn't work, that all bets were off.

Honestly, the wall would save money (provided we actually deported the illegals).

It’s a good investment when you consider how much welfare & social services go towards illegals. No question about it.

RESIGNATION.

Thank you.

I knew indifference wasn’t the word I was looking for.

Resigned is even sadder than indifferent.

I have faith in Trump. Until he gives me more than a few reasons not to.

All the same, everyone should feel free to tweet Trump about building the damn wall!!

It should be a hell of a lot easier than tearing down the Berlin Wall!!

Damn RINOs

“revolution soon”

I’ve been hearing that for the past 9 years and haven’t seen anything yet that looks like a revolution. Let me know when it starts.

> It’s not just “RINOs” though. A lot of movement conservatives here on FR are saying we don’t need a wall.

That is very disappointing. :-( FR is one of the few places that remain true to conservative thought.

> If Trump goes back on his campaign positions to embrace orthodox beltway conservatism — soft on immigration, interventionist abroad and continuing the current trade policies, he will be crushed in 2020 in an epic landslide and probably take much of the GOP Congress with him. Younger Americans are giving the GOP and conservatives one last chance to chart a new course away from globalism. If we fail, there is going to be a splintering of the political right in the US like what we see in Europe.

I think you are correct. Further, I fear that the noodleback GOPe-ers in Congress may be dooming themselves for 2018. I certainly won’t be motivated to support the GOP if they’re going to screw the American people but LIE about it during campaigning.

That’s the thing. DemonRATs are despicable, but at least you know where they stand.
