How does this work exactly? Some circuit court judge can compel the federal government to pay money to certain jurisdictions, or what? Be held in contempt of a court order? Are they going to send a Baliff to collect personally?

That is kind of crazy. The judge cannot force the Federal Government to send money to anyone. If the President or Congress doesn’t sign the check, no money goes. Trump could shut the government down, let the judge try to enforce the law himself.

Why does it seem that only leftist judge’s injunctions are sancrosanct? I don’t recall any centrist judge’s injunctions stopping Obama.
But it is OK to hold back federal funds from schools if they didn’t implement Michele Obama’s school lunch program or money from the states in the form of highway money if they didn’t adhere to federal speed limits.

If Trump is within the law, then Trump needs to appeal it all the way up to SCOTUS>
And then the judge needs to be impeached. That’s a congressional duty.
The judges would only further usurp power by decreeing just how much funding THEY deem reasonable.
This tyranny won’t stop WITHIN the system. Sad, but true.
