Drug smugglers are being helped by the Democratic leaders in Congress who are trying to block funding for a border wall, says President Donald Trump.
He is using Twitter to hit the Democrats as enablers for the criminal gangs that are smuggling deadly drugs into American cities and towns around the nation, and which are sending murderous MS-13 gang members into Americans’ neighborhoods.
The strategy makes sense because it is true, and because many of the Americans who will vote in 2018 are increasingly concerned about the rising death toll from Mexican-supplied heroin and other drugs. In July 2016, Breitbart News reported:
Voters want safer communities as they see crime rates rising. The Opinion Research Corporation found that 58 percent of voters think politicians aren’t doing enough to keep drug traffickers off the streets, but only 30 percent thought we lock up drug traffickers for too long, a 2-to-1 margin.
Remarkably, female respondents expressed much more support for stronger enforcement than men, with 62 percent of women (mothers, daughters, wives) saying not enough is done to keep traffickers far from their families — indicating a law and order agenda is an issue that can win over significant numbers of women voters.
In response, Democrats are saying Trump should get the Mexican government to pay for the wall up-front.

He can crush them with social media. If he gets eight years as president, and is not banned from social media in that time, democrats might not have a majority at any level for 50 years or more.

They would sell their own families if it would get them votes. Schumer seems to me that he would’ve been the same as Soros: sell out your own religion for cash and prizes.

I love it! Destroy them with the facts. They are enablers and partners in crime, death and societal destruction wrought by illegal immigration and the flow of drugs across our borders.
Trump should pull federal funding to institutions of higher learning that don’t allow free speech. Trump should remove federal funding to all sanctuary cities and states. Trump should shut down all pot dispenseries, seize their assets. There would be plenty of money for the wall and constructing colonies on the moon and Mars.
Obama unilaterally gave away billions to other countries. Trump just needs to use the Obama playbook and start redirecting funds originally meant to be spent in other departments to build the wall.

Trump needs to harp on this 24/7 for weeks.
In his message, he needs to include the fact that ISIS terrorists are co-mingled in with the Latino illegals coming across the border, and they are not coming here to work, but to murder Americans.
He is caving on funding in this bill by saying it can wait until September.
However, he needs to keep framing it that it is the Dems fault.

I wouldn’t cave. I’d tell Congress to go piss up a rope and shut down all non-essential services and tell them never return.
Hmm.. I hope this isn’t the set up for blaming the Rats for the wall getting blocked instead of digging in and doing whatever it takes to get it funded. The Rats don’t what Trump says about them. What they do about is keeping thousands of rat voters crossing the border every month.
