French far-right presidential hopeful Marine Le Pen has announced that she is temporarily stepping down as her party's leader.
The Front National leader revealed she would be quitting her role in her party to focus on the upcoming Presidential election.
Monday's move appears to be a way for Le Pen to embrace a wide range of potential voters ahead of the May 7 runoff between herself and Emmanuel Macron, the independent centrist who came in first in Sunday's first round.

In Britain it is a Prime Minister, not a president. And that is the significant factor. In a true Parliamentary system the Prime Minister (of Parliament) will indeed be, in almost all cases, the leader of the ruling party or coalition. Britain does not have a President. That’s why this situation in France does not bear resemblence to Britain.

This truly is an emergency for France. If Macron wins, it will be the death knell for France and all of it's citizens. It's pretty obvious he's a globalist and has little or no understanding of radical Islamic terrorism and their plans for a European Caliphate. This is the biggest election in the history of France. I hope all Frenchmen take it very seriously.
Let's see, all the international socialist/communists/globalists, plus Merkel, Obama and progressives of all ilks back Macron. Not a good sign.

I wouldn’t rule out Putin. He may yet be an ally to quell the Muslim hoards. Kill enough of the Muslim pigs and they will stop.
In Britain the head of state is the Queen, and the evolved tradition is that she delegates most of her power to the Parliament.
I don't claim that Putin is entirely on our side, but he is opposed to radical Islam. Mostly. I'll happily take him as an ally.

As I understand it, Putin has given a green light to Christianity in Russia and it is now flourishing, the Eastern Orthodox Church. From Wikipedia: "Christianity in Russia is by some estimates the largest religion in the country, with nearly 50% of the population identifying as Christian. The largest tradition is the Russian Orthodox Church."
Hopefully, Christianity and church attendance will flourish here the next eight years. . and beyond.
