What took so long? Should of been fired day one!

All of them should’ve been whacked by the second week of last November.

It probably was an asked for and given resignation rather than ‘fired’. Surgeon General is not a cabinet level position any more is it?

From Wikipedia

The Surgeon General of the United States is the operational head of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (PHSCC) and thus the leading spokesperson on matters of public health in the federal government of the United States. The Surgeon General's office and staff are known as the Office of the Surgeon General (OSG).

The U.S. Surgeon General is nominated by the President of the United States and confirmed by the Senate. The Surgeon General serves a four-year term of office and, depending on whether or not the current Assistant Secretary for Health is a PHSCC commissioned officer, is either the senior or next most senior uniformed officer of the PHSCC, holding the rank of a vice admiral.

...

The Surgeon General reports to the Assistant Secretary for Health (ASH), who may be a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service, Commissioned Corps (PHSCC), and who serves as the principal adviser to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on public health and scientific issues. The Surgeon General is the overall head of the Commissioned Corps, a 6,500-member cadre of health professionals who are on call 24 hours a day, and can be dispatched by the Secretary of HHS or the Assistant Secretary for Health in the event of a public health emergency.

While it doesn't directly say so, I'd guess the Surgeon General is not a Cabinet position - although he or she has to be confirmed by the Senate, so look for the RATs to drag this one out also.

President Trump has come under pressure from advisers to push out Obama appointees, as some believe that they could be the root of the cascade of damaging stories that continue to come out about the new administration...As a consequence, hundreds of senior-level federal positions remain vacant.

GREAT!

Now fire 95% of the "workers" or just plain close most of the departments.

Congress should eliminate the position as of Dec, 2018. In the interim who should it be - Clarence Thomas?

No, after he finishes shutting down HUD, Dr Ben Carson.

Well ain’t that a coincidence? Just this very morning my unloaded gun found a way OUT of the locked, electronic gun safe, found the proper ammo in the OTHER locked, electronic gun safe, LOADED itself and shot me in the @ss while I was making breakfast!

Happens to me ALL the time.

I drive the libs BSC when they come up with taking guns away after a ____________(fill in appropriate event) I point out that I have been around guns etal for 60 some years and have not seen fit to fire on anyone so why take my gun away.

I then go on to point out to them that do they really think they would cut down on rapes if the Govt decided to ‘remove’ my tallywacker again seeing as in 60 some years I have never attacked or assaulted a female.

Get real in the real world. There is nothing I can do. You think i am going to go to his state and try to get a gun from him. Be realistic.

Btw..VA rep indicated to me it is not uncommon for vets to have to rely on independent fiduciary payees because relatives are too scared to be in charge of money...for a number of reasons.
