Perdicaris was not an American Citizen, his parents had renounced their citizenship in Greece during the Civil War.

It’s more Gilbert and Sullivan than “Saving Private Ryan.”
Another example of why the snowflakes are coming out of college as dumb as they are. This “professor” doesn’t have an ounce of common sense, or he wouldn’t be in N. Korea.
Now?
NK doesn’t need an excuse to arrest someone. You can have a non approved haircut and be sent to a torture prison. He was American and that was the reason he was arrested.
ANYBODY that is stupid enough to go there should know this.
Americans need to get out of that hellhole while they still can...
Why in the world would an American set foot in North Korea?
I can understand if it was for religious reasons, but still....
This is yet one more problem for Trump. Now NK has a bit more leverage over the U.S. Because America values human life (after it is born, and before it is born, within certain limitations, blah blah blah).
Egypt, not Turkey...
Thanks.
Kims defense has always been nukes and kidnapping Americans in order to use as bargaining chips in negotiations...... But Pence has made it clear there will be none....that the goal is for Kim to dismantle his nuclear ambitions...period. So we shall see................
US policy is not to negotiate with kidnappers.....and that’s what this is. Pence said no negotiations..Kim must disarm his nuclear.
They well know the risk..very well in fact.
The guy became a US citizen, then ignored our laws and took advantage of us by going to North Korea. Let him rot there WITHOUT our citizenship which he so directly disrespected.
He was a human shield the moment he crossed the border.
let’s see where the three American hostages are housed. If one in each major city or military base, then they are being used to prevent any US air strikes on them.
The Iranians did it. Hanoi tried to do it. I believe Castro did it in the old days, and ISIS does it with everyone they capture.
That’s why cruise missiles are so good. They can hit a target very precisely and avoid civilian casualties.
The little psycho in No. Korea is playing a very dangerous game but he doesn’t care. Alex, I’ll take $1,000 for a military coup in No. Korea within a year. Kimchee may be psycho but some of his generals are not.
Some of them could be CIA assets.
Before consigning this guy to whatever fate awaits him, have you considered the very real possibility that he`s one of our own spies who has put his life at risk to provide us with much needed intelligence? Just sayin.
Yes. You are right. We have to look at the big picture. This guy was incredibly stupid.
