Report: 500 ineligible voters cast ballots in North Carolina

North Carolina elections officials found that about 500 ineligible voters cast ballots in the 2016 general election — but not enough to change the outcome of any race, according to an audit released Friday.

The State Board of Elections report said the 508 cases — the vast majority active felons — represented a small fraction of the 4.8 million ballots cast. The report didn’t include any evidence of coordinated fraud, and many of the voters claimed to be confused about their eligibility.

The audit’s findings contradict Republican claims that voter fraud runs rampant in North Carolina. […]

The audit comes amid scrutiny of voting practices in North Carolina and around the country, with President Donald Trump recently claiming without evidence that scores of immigrants voted illegally nationwide. The North Carolina audit confirmed 41 votes by non-citizens. …

How do they know how many people are registered and voted in multiple states

Translation-they didn't look for those voting twice...or those voting in a district where they didn't live...or those who didn't even live in NC (a *huge* problem in New Hampshire)...or the dead having voted.

It's far more likely that the Rats know that NC,like some states and unlike others,is soft on election fraud.

For example,I'd like to know if NC enforces any kind of voter ID.

“...the RATS were nust not working very hard.”

The fact that only 500 were found shows how hard the RATS worked to cover up, obfuscate and pepper the trail with red herrings.

While I suspect the number is low, every one of these should lead to charges, conviction, and jail time. Those illegal aliens should also be deported. NC, and all states, need to show they are serious about stopping illegal voting, serious about the integrity of our elections.

The keynis ‘election official’. They only looked at challenged votes most likely.

Usually when you ‘study’ these studies you find they are only looking about a specific type of voter fraud — in this case felon voters. They get a sufficiently low number & they’re all over the news about it.

Did they check addresses, IDs and confirm citizenship?

Did they check out-of-state college students for double voting in their home state?

The audit needs auditing.
Note that the article states two people voted on behalf of relatives who died before election day and that THEY WERE REPUBLICANS. Those votes were redacted.
But they don’t state the political party of all the other voting violations.
I believe that NC settled on a method of screening voter eligibility that would be blind to fraud practices.

Deport any non-citizen voting in a US election. No appeal, no second chance, and no re-entry into the country, ever.

Like cockroaches - if they caught 500, there are at least 50,000.

No,I mean huge as in “very, very large”.People entering New Hampshire on Election Day,claiming to have just moved to the state yet having no proof (utility bill, for example) are still allowed to vote. The Rats passed the bill when they controlled everything and have vetoed all attempts to repeal it.

And a former GOP Governor of the state says that several major elections have been tipped by this.

And BTW...guess where the bulk of these fraudulent voters come from:

You're correct...MASSACHUSETTS...the state with more corrupt pig residents, per square mile, than just about any state in the nation.

With Virginia (reliably Rat) right next door it's more likely to be 500,000.It's a quick trip down I-95 from VA to NC.

I searched “new hampshire election rules new residents can vote without” and got this link for search results:

http://isearch.avg.com/search?cid={8185C9F8-5791-4D73-BEF6-523354A50ACE}&mid=e0986a6838c847d09e7569e5297f298e-7832a0bb4859c19d917085a9613f1d3dc42e5a5a&lang=en&ds=AVG&pr=fr&d=2012-09-24%2019:43:21&v=15.2.0.5&pid=avg&sg=0&sap=dsp&q=new+hampshire+election+rules+new+residents+can+vote+without+proof

Note the first link on the page has the following text with the link:

http://www.dmv.org/nh-new-hampshire/voter-registration.php
“To exercise your right to vote in New Hampshire, you must first register to vote ...
though there is no minimum amount of time you must have been a resident of ...
the day of the election and you will also be required to provide proof of domicile,”

BUT if I go to the actual DMV page that “helpful encouragement to Antifa staff” does not appear on the DMV’s page. Pigs.
