I am a Christian. But no student (or staff member) should be allowed to exhibit any religious symbol in a public school. So a crucifix is out, as is a Star of David, as is a hijab.
Public schools, military installations, government offices, etc. ... all must be religiously and politically neutral. Wear a crucifix, a Star of David, etc. if you wish. But keep it under your shirt when you are working at a public institution.
I am STRONGLY against the hijab. So note this. If you allow the crucifix at a public school, you must also allow the hijab.

When I was in high school I did that when they tried to force me to do activities that I didn’t want to do. I had to stay in detention during the activities but that was OK by me.
Students really need to learn to say NO to these control-freak teachers and administrators.
Public schools are a largely failing enterprise. Best to get out if you can. If not, fight back by not participating in this foolishness.

Wear big crosses and Jesus and US flag tee shirts, plaster cross and US flag stickers on notebooks. Hold prayers at flagpole before, at lunch and after school. When disciplined loudly yell “Bully!” over and over. Recite First Amendment, with reminder this is public property, throughout the day. Video everything.
If touched or assaulted or rights violated, call police immediately.
In one of my high school classes a teacher tried some crap with a fellow student. The teacher was then grabbed and suspended over a third floor balcony rail. Two fellow students and I had to save the teacher from further action. Thereafter the teacher controlled his dictatorial tirades.
This is part of the harm that those folks said that they weren’t foisting on society.

At some point people must deal with the fact, that homosexuals are after your kids. NAMBLA was once very open about their goals of accessing little boys. If Florida parents were making sure that their children were being taught the Constitution as constitutional lawmakers had intended for it to be understood, then the referenced high school students would probably be able to argue the following points against the LGBT activist teachers actions.
Not only had the Founding States made the Constitutions Clause 1 of Section 10 of Article I to clarify that the states are prohibited from making laws / policies which establish protected / privileged classes which this low-information math teacher is effectively doing imo, but also consider the following.
When the states ratified the 14th Amendment (ratified under very questionable circumstances imo) they prohibited themselves from abridging constitutional rights that the states amend the Constitution to expressly protect, 1st Amendment-protected religious expression and free speech in this example.
So the referenced math teacher is arguably not only violating the Constitutons prohibition on protected / privileged classes, but also Section 1 of the 14th Amendment.
Article I, Section 10, Clause 1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility [emphasis added].

But whats worse, the unconstitutional actions of the misguided teacher, or parents who evidently arent making sure that their children are being taught about their constitutional protections?
