No one asked you to be. Being honest about what has been accomplished is only fair

Ted lost a lot of goodwill in the 2016 campaign.

He’s also the guy who repeatedly announced that Donald Trump would not get enough GOP delegates on the first ballot and that nobody would. He further asserted that only he could beat Hillary in the general election, and then repeatedly asserted that only the Cruz-Fiorina ticket could prevail in November.

Not exactly Nostradamus we have here.

Thank you! 22 Freepers commented before reading the article, and were completely fooled by a misleading headline.

Some of you still don't get it. Once again it's a fake headline for a fake candidate. Ya see most folks have no desire to follow other people or read about someone after they’ve clearly established who they were long before this article was ever publish.

And just because some D.C. politician says he agrees with something, are we to simply ignore their history and deeds?

He needs to get the wall started. He hasn’t criticized the RNC leadership over them saying they won’t fund it.

What in tarnation are you talking about? The GD borders have been wide open and completely lawless for DECADES, with many millions pouring in thanks to all the crooks and fraudulent corrupt professional career politicians which you’ve likely supported. And suddenly now, according to you, it must be done to quickly to meet your approval? Bull s**t.

Try holding your breath until it happens.

And the RFQ are out and it is started. Moreover by enforcing the laws people are going back and others aren’t coming

If we just enforce laws, then the next president will allow illegal immigration again. We need a wall built.

Trump’s campaign was about that.

Did you even read the sentence.

You can’t build a wall with out the contracts being signed...that is what the RFQ are for.

Will you blame Trump if the environazis tie it up in court?

I replied to your point about the laws being enforced. If he does what GWB did and not complain, then I will. I’m not a cheerleader like you are. You don’t care if a wall is built.

His delusions are getting wilder, and wilder

So what is delusional about this comment? In a panel discussion Tuesday, Cruz warned that Democrats, led by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), could retake the White House in 2020 if President Trump and Republicans fail to overcome party divides that threaten their ability to govern.

IMO, that's directed more at the GOP Congresscritters than the White House.

Ryan and McConnell continue to be the largest impediments to getting things done in DC.

Senator Cruz just attended a gathering in Dallas that was put on by a local conservative radio station on Trump's First 100 days. Although I didn't attend, based on what I heard, Cruz heard plenty from the audience, a very pro-Trump crowd. I think Ted's most recent remarks stem from that gathering.

Those of you that are vehemently against Senator Cruz need to read his actual words, and not just the headlines. You're all much too intelligent to fall for such tricks.

He needs to criticize Ryan and McConnell for not funding it. He hasn’t criticized them so far.

Ryan and McConnell are not his allies - I'd wager he has had some serious "chats" with them and will not publicly antagonize them until it becomes absolutely necessary and is the best option available.

W/o The Congress, much of his agenda cannot happen and the question is whether they are willing to sacrifice the WH and House/Senate majorities to maintain their GOPe power structure - anybody's guess at this time.

Their stalling him on his most important campaign promises. The House doesn’t agree with Ryan or McConnell.

And on many current Repub promises - time and place for everything...

I agree they need to be bitch-slapped but timing is everything and he is chalking up everything they do to make him and others who ran on his platforms into "liars".

Just as the investigations into the "Russia" crap are starting to show how right he was, and keep inching closer to the truth, his tactics will be to keep plugging and shoving a massive pile of manure on them when the time is right.

No you are a complete fool.

Bush did everything he could to prevent a wall from being built. Bush also didn’t enforce any laws

Do you not hold congress responsible for anything at all ever?

So Trump shouldn’t fight congress if they and the RNC leadership don’t fund a wall?

That’s not the issue. This issue here is it seems you don’t approve of the time frame. Too bad for you.

I know you are new here so maybe you don’t quite understand yet....putting words in other people’s mouths is not acceptable

You don’t answer a question with a question. If you have been reading any of the articles on the budget all if them have stated that Trump is demanding money for the wall. He is threatening a veto otherwise

Is that good enough for you? And when will you hold congress responsible?

if people get past the headline and just read the two lines for the article posted they would realize Cruz is correct...and it has nothing to do with Trump rather the cowardly, spineless GOPe- once again!!

But it oh so much fun to post based only on the headline and a feeling based on a feeling from last nights pizza. < /sarcasm>

If they have a charismatic candidate in 2020 for the Dems, this could be a tough re-election fight for Trump.

Horse Dung!
