People who have pre-existing conditions just want to be insured. Poor health can happen to anyone.

They are NOT repealing ObamaCare, we are saddled with this monster for good.

Before excessive regulations doctors were free to charge patients differing amounts. It may have had some connection the sadly ignored Hippocratic Oath.
That this little tweak to Obamacare is all they can come up with after 7 years of campaigning to repeal it and replace it with a freer market than we had before is pathetic.
If they do not REPEAL ObamaCare, screw the Republican Party and if Trump backs this screw him.
Lots of people want lots of things. Where do you draw the line on stealing from me to pay for those things?
The myth is that Obamacare provides coverage When I have people in the hospital that are “covered” it is a disaster Their deductible is unaffordable After that what is covered is bare minimum and often does not include post discharge services such as visiting nurse or home health If these people were uninsured I could get them charity care but since they have “insurance” there is nothing I can do In many cases the Obamacare is literally worse than being uninsured

I think it was yesterday that President Trump signed I believe and executive order that veterans could get medical help outside of the VA.
As for preexisting conditions, if a vehicle insurance companies allowed vehicle owners to get insurance coverage(and make a claim) after a vehicle accident, how long will the companies/carriers stay in business?
So, if preexisting guarantees are paramount, then the state will have to force people to buy insurance when healthy to avoid bankruptcies. And suddenly, you are staring at Ocare right in the face.
Replace Republicans!
Actually, there were safeguards put in place in the state where I live. Those who had preexisting conditions paid a higher premium, but had coverage. Obamacare put a wrench in that.
I was Divinely healed of my preexisting condition thank the Lord.
Your post addresses the only thing that matters to most Americans. A health care reform bill that doesn’t reduce premiums is a waste of time and a political disaster.
In my state (before Obamacare) I paid a higher premium.

Who pays the insurance for those who can't afford it? And preexisting guarantees will cause the state to force people to buy insurance against their will, just like Ocare.
That's mostly due to all the government mandated "free healthcare".....Guess who pays for it.

Exactly but a lot of freepers are insulted when this is pointed out because Trump is infallible.
There has to be people in the GOP leadership that knew exactly what would happen if they funded ObamaCare like they did. The Democrats were so much smarter than the GOP because they front loaded this bill and spent money into the future and withheld the pain until the GOP would have to take the heat. The GOPe are either too stupid to have leadership roles or too corrupt and dishonorable to serve.
For what it is worth I said long before this bill was passed that the Supremes would approve it. I also said once it was approved and put into place it would not go away because the GOP insiders wanted it more than the socialists.
Do we really think a family of four that is paying $1,200 a month in premiums with $6,000 a year each, deductible is going to be lining up to vote Republican if all they do is rename ObamaCare? I certainly don't.
Those people that are not in the market place that have insurance through an employer don't seem to have a clue how bad it is but they soon will because their employer is working very hard to shove them into the government plan because what they provide now is unsustainable.
The people who are punished by Obamacare-RyanCare won't vote for Trump or GOP next election either.
