The singing was followed by footage of its test-firing of a missile in February which, in the video, was joined by other missiles shooting into sky, passing over the Pacific and exploding in giant balls of flames in the United States.
The video ended with a picture of the American flag in flames, overlapping row after row of white crosses in a cemetery.

Not in the hearts of the Korean people.....Unless you have different proof, the majority of people in NK think, as they’ve been told, they live in Paradise. They think Americans have been attacking them for years because we want the Utopia they live in. They think SK has stage sets of grocery stores with food in them. Americans could NOT possibly have the land, food and resources they have heard of. I know this from escorting defectors around who asked “ When do we get off this stage set? I want to see my SK brothers.” It took a long while for them to realize they, their fathers and grandfathers had been lied to.

Agreed. The book, ‘The Wilder Shores of Marx’ gives a good perspective of life under dictators, socialists, etc.
I use to work with a women that grew up in China in the late 60’s and 70’s. She was a CAD drafter, very competent, prided herself on her work -also very stubborn to deal with. (We use to joke that the communist couldn’t break her so they cut her loose.). Anyway... She really didn’t take about her youth much at all. But once we were al talking and she did and said something very insightful. Basically she went on to say the communists try to full or sashiate every nook and cranny of you psyche. The communists know there is a for spirituality in the human psyche and when she was very young she was taught at school the sing hymns about how great the government is or how the party would always care for them. Much like the psalms in the Bible.
