Three US Aircraft Carriers Directed Toward South Korean Shores

Amid mounting tensions in the East Asia, the Pentagon has directed three US aircraft carriers toward the Korean Peninsula, South Korean media reported quoting governmental sources.

TOKYO (Sputnik) — Three US aircraft carriers, USS Carl Vinson, USS Ronald Reagan and USS Nimitz, will enter the Sea of Japan next week, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing a South Korean government source.

Washington and Seoul are discussing joint drills, which will include the three aircraft carriers, with USS Carl Vinson expected to enter the Sea of Japan by April 25 and other ships joining it, according to the report.

On Sunday night, South Korean and US military reported registering what they believed to be a failed missile test by Pyongyang.

I contacted an ex-Navy friend and he said this :

” It’s not all that uncommon to have three carrier battle groups operate together and with the JMSDF and ROK Navy forces. We used to have an exercise called Team Spirit off the coast of Korea with all those forces combined. During my six years of sea duty in Japan we participated in many of them. Obviously some muscle flexing there too. “

According to Paine on FBN tonight, the report of 2 other carriers hearing there is ABSOLUTELY FALSE.

Any type of conflict with NK and Seoul will be destroyed. PERIOD.

The only , I repeat the ONLY way we win without Seoul being utterly destroyed by artillery is to take the artillery (all of it) out within seconds of each other. Without NK knowing it’s about to happen. They can’t even suspect.

I’ve always said pretty much that here. I look at those old farts with the big hats and the chests full of salad and I imagine them to be thinking “I survived this kids grandfather and his old man. I have a nice apartment, I eat well, my wife shops in the high end stores and I drink Scotch and smoke Cuban cigars. I’m not going to lose all that because Lard Ass here wants to start a war with The United States. Time for Fat Boy to catch a ‘’cold’’.

They’d see those coming. Unfortunately.

Has to be multiple spec-ops. Or Rods....but they aren’t supposed to exist. They’d never see the Rods coming.

Thanks for the ping, JJ! We need to move decisively in this instance.

Thank you for your reply earlier in this thread. And yes, our political parties even appear to disagree with each other on foreign relations policies. You might also find the following to be interesting.

Of course, many of us and our leaders have already known it for a long time. The situation is obvious to anyone who is at least somewhat familiar with geographical and cultural history of the East.

South Korea has a GDP 80 times bigger than Nkrth Korea and a population 2 times larger.

South Korea is perfectly capable of dealing with the DPRK without us.
