The same with me and my wife. She wants our daughter (my step daughter whom I love) to get through high school here at least because of custody purposes. I fully support her in this.

But I agree - it cheeses me to no end that we’re the ones being essentially chased out after having paid hundreds of thousands dollars in taxes over the years.

After 56 years in Illinois, I escaped to Indiana four years ago, but I still work in Illinois and spend a lot of time there, so it still affects me.

To show how insideous it is for the parties to be in cahoots for the benefit of the politicians, consider this. If Fitzgerald had run for reelection, there is a chance we never would have had a Sen. Barack Obama. But the state GOP told Fitzgerald they would not support him, so he bowed out. Obama’s major primary opposition got blown out by a scandal. The GOP nominee got blown out by a scandal. The GOP couldn’t find anyone to run, so they imported Alan Keyes. Obama skated to victory, and the rest is history. Who knows to what extent the state GOP was involved in that dirty deed.

California will change when its population tires of communism, so maybe in fifty years or so there will be a change back towards the right. I grew up in California and my family still lives there and I am back there every six weeks.. It’s not like the East Coast where I have lived, it is more like a foreign nation at this point with English being nearly a second language to the majority of California’s population.

When you visit California you must be spending your time on the predominantly white American born populated coastline. Go east of the 405 freeway in Southern California and become Sam Adams 76 gringo extraordinaire.

Jerry Brown has fought roads, well forever. He hates cars ad highways with a zeal reminiscent of Islamic extremism..

Two weeks ago he made an impassioned plea. Roads are critical to the state, we must take care of our highways, need more money to get on top of road repairs. I love roads. Result: dems have supermajority and still need republicans in the assembly to get it done. Bribe a republican tens of millions for a train station in his district. He sells out and votes for the dems and 5 billion tax increase.

Quiz? Which republican is running against Feinstein for her upcoming re-election? I don’t know either

Just leave the wall open at CA’s southern border, and bulldoze everything south across the border. The close it. We don’t give up our land to no steenking scum!

The issue should be what the globullshooters claiming to be democrats and their sanctuary state give a away is costing each and every citizen of California. Alas I have yet to see any effort here to move in that direction.

I get the same sense of attitude from my 70 y.o. BIL, conservative evangelical, lifelong resident of LA. He told me he will never leave no matter how bad it gets because he can walk on the beach every day. Sigh. Reminds me of the Sam Adams quote, “If ye love wealth [or the beach] better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Yes, but think about that for a minute.

Who refused to enforce the laws or take the Democrats to task for refusing to enforce the laws?

Our dear GOPe did. Now you could state the Democrats didn’t either, but WHO IS supposed to be the law and order party?

Immigration is a federal mandate. Reagan signed stiff new laws into effect in 1986.

Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama refused to enforce them.

The GOPe just abandoned us. They didn’t give one hoot about us.

Curses! It’s already patented. I’m too late!
Oh, well. All patents expire at some time.
