If a 100’ tidal wave hit the coast of CA, would global warming be the blame? Should the faults erupt and open up, will they blame global warming? I was thinking, land erosion could cause higher tides depending where the measurement was taken. The out going tides takes the erosion soil into the open water. The coastline starts to shrink, but due to global warming or just the natural action of sea water?

Natural erosion of a coastline by normal tides must not be confused with “alarking sea level rises”, which are not occurring. All the doomsday predictions that were supposed to have happened by now have not come to pass.

They will never admit flawed computer models, manipulated data, and ulterior agendas are behind their movements.

It is hard to believe - but there are apparently people that believe the ocean will rise in some places more than others due to global warming - according to an expert. They are so incredibly stupid! These are plate tectonic deniers. These are San Andreas deniers. Total knuckle dragging, drooling effin idiots.

The coast of the California zoo is well known to also be unstable in many places. Malibu is sinking away, good riddance.

Where is Lex Luthor when you need him, like in the first Superman movie?

A good article on California's sea water problem:

Not necessarily bad, though. Most of the working class folks can’t afford to live a long the beach. They live inland... way inland.

It is the hoard of rich liberals who own homes along the beach that might be flooded out. The ultimate in social justice.

Well, it would be a disaster if it rose a couple of feet.

The coastal leftists might be forced to move inland a bit, and further pollute interior areas that haven’t been completely ruined yet by leftist voters.

And 3,000 pound Bunnies could attack, but both events won’t happen.

Sheesh! What are the chances that California sunk into the ground by that much instead of the ocean rising. After all, there are parts of California that tend to move around a bit.

But what about the water pollution. Call the EPA!

During the last 100 years the sea level has risen 2 millimeters along the California coast.

Or even less.

Having spent much of my youth in the Monterey Bay area (1960s), and having been back to visit many of the intervening years, I know what a sea level rise would look like.

And, this early January, during the "King tide" of the lunar perigee, I observed the pacific ocean at its' globally warmed, highest higher tide worst...

Absolutely nothing. The tide levels were as they always are this time of year, and that's from a scientifically trained observer.

Actually, if someone really wanted to make a case for allegedly higher ocean levels, they might be at a loss to explain why the Maldives are still there. (They can't and won't.)

A “state commissioned report” came to the conclusions that were required in the contract that got the reporters the job.

I believe that California is actually rising faster than the sea is rising.
