The fact SHOULD also be that it’s not legal to unmask ordinary citizen’s names for no reason- Susan rice and ilk are going to get away with this scott free- once again we have a mountain of evidence that the ‘intelligence community’ won’t be able to string together for a conviction
I have a little more faith than you that Rice and others will face penalties for their actions. It’s way too soon for me to think Trump is the same old thing we’ve been used to.

I don’t have faith anything will happen- it can’t- the left are covered under a huge blanket of subjective interpretation when it comes to unmasking- only the right are subject to the left’s interpretation- and always held to a much much higher standard than the left is- Technically, on paper- rice and ilk did nothing illegal- there was no felony committed- even though it was completely unethical- the left will get away with it because legally, they broke no law- the only possible law broken would be the leaking to the press- (ie ala valerie plume case) yet you and i both know that will never get pinned on rice or obama- some lackey will take the fall at best-
My take is Schiff (and Feinstein) were shell-shocked b/c they found out Obama/Rice likely spied on Democrats, too. Juvenile Obama wanting to know what they're saying behind his half-caste a**.
Trump knew Democrats would be sap-happy to see Republicans outed....no biggie to them. So it's more than likely S and F were shocked....b/c they saw evidence of Democrats spied upon.

The revelations could be earth-shaking....maybe even Democrats' offshore financial activities, in Tahiti, French Polynesia, the Caribbean, Central America, and the like.

That the NSA didn’t unmask the information initially, plus later investigations finding NO collusion between Russia and Trump have proven that whatever suspicions Rice may have had to justify the unmasking were absolutely wrong, or more likely non-existent.

1. When did you request the unmasking, and from which agency? Who in that agency actually did the unmasking? Please provide the written requests you submitted.
2. Once the names were unmasked, did you still believe there was a threat to national security from the named US persons?
3. If so, with whom did you share the information, and what actions were taken to protect America?
4. If not, then you should not have shared the names with anyone else, so how did the names become known?
5. Why was any of this info deliberately withheld on the FISA application?

It does seem like the surveillance was pretty widespread and not limited to Republicans. The Kennedys and Clintons spied on everyone, too, so they shouldn’t be surprised.
Liz, I’ve given up on congress. The purpose of congress is nothing more than reelection of its members. I’ve wasted too many hours these past eight years watching committee hearings on executive branch crimes come to nothing.
But, I have hope that Jeff Sessions will do the right thing, and submit the evidence the FBI has on numerous Obama felons to a dozen or so Grand Juries.
If he doesn’t, well, it is a harbinger of revolution or Article V.
