Daily Caller ^ | April 11 2017

These reforms include a surge of 25 immigration judges at detention centers along the border, and the hiring of 50 new immigration judges in 2017 and an additional 75 in 2018.

Home Depots?

How about judges on wheels, following the sounds of leaf blowers across suburbia?

Jeff Sessions went on record as saying illegals that have not committed serious crimes( whatever that means) are not the focus of ICE.

This has been the biggest problem: administrative judges ‘catch & release’ policy.
The BP goes to the trouble of catching them, then the Obama appointee lets them go, and with a wink and a nudge tells them to come back for a hearing. BP agents call it the “catch and run” policy.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/opinion/commentary/fl-viewpoint-immigrants-catch-and-release-policy-20170407-story.html

“In fact, no courts have higher failure-to-appear rates by defendants than U.S. immigration courts, the report found.”

In January, Oregon Multnomah County Judge Monica Heeranz actually assisted an illegal charged with drunk driving in escaping from ICE by showing him the judges’ rear door.
We don’t need immigration reform if the judges will simply do their jobs and enforce the law.

If they don’t (and it is looking like they won’t) remove 10s of millions of illegals here currently—and it looks like they won’t—the country is cooked.

Ways to cook the country, from quickest to slowest:

-Electing Hillary Clinton
-Keeping immigration of Democrat voters (or not removing enough illegal immigrants)
-Keeping neocon foreign policy
-Keeping the welfare state

The second way ends the country in decades. I’m less certain how long it would take for the welfare state to do it.

Still won’t be enough for the never Trump crowd on this board. They think that the government is somehow going to round up 30 million illegal immigrants in a month and solve the problem. This is great progress and we should all applaud President Trump and AG Sessions for tackling this problem.

Would they build a wall right down the middle of the Rio Grande?

Already have gun boats patrolling. Just increase the quantity of boats for more coverage.

If ICE deports 1,000/day that is 365,000/yr. I’d be good with that. Instead we are getting a small trickle. ICE has 20k employees. It needs to be much bigger. At least 1,000 agents per state(av).

I wish I could be happy about the hundreds of things Trump has done that are things we’ve wanted for up to 100 years, but he’s done two or three things I have a problem with.

I can’t support him anymore.

I notice that there is no mention to prosecute or her underlings for the felony crimes that they have committed. Not that I was expecting her or them to be prosecuted. In fact, I would be the most surprised person in the World if they went after Hillary and her cohorts.

I think so. It's nearly impossible to live in the U.S. without some kind of official documentation. With it, just try to get a bank account, become employed, cash a check, get on an airplane, or many other things. That means nearly all of them have committed some kind of a crime.

The Latin American voter importation strategy IMO is much closer than that to success—no more than two presidential voting cycles away in effect, but beyond the tipping point already if not actively reversed in this administration.

The first president to address illegal immigration since Reagan (who did it wrong), and you’re trashing his efforts before they’re even started.

He’s well on the way to getting us a wall, is evicting illegals as we speak, and is now setting up a network of judges to focus on nothing but evicting illegal immigrants, and you’re still moaning.

I’d sure hate to have you next to me in a serious battle.

A bee bee comes across the line, and you’d be gone.

Many thought Trump was going to get 100% of everything done in 30 days or less [LoL]. At least they talked like it. After the election, I didn’t want to throw water on all their buzzes so I didn’t say much that it would take a lot of time. Reality. Yeah, this is a win that Trump and crew can control.

The wall should be on the USA side you idiot.

Don't Americans use the Rio Grande for boating and fishing? How would that work if they could no longer get to the river without crossing a wall?
