Further, once a ship departs from its track, there is no guarantee that it will be picked up again.
Especially under conditions of heavy seas and overcast, it would be child’s play to get close enough to go high order before we could stop them.
And we’re talking about surface ships, anyway. Things get much more complicated if you’re trying to keep track of submarines.

No, but the original bone of contention was your assertion that our surveillance and countermeasures are so good that no NORK ship could come into one of our ports. Submarines are obviously a part of that threat.
Well genius, why don’t you tell about the various satellite technologies we have available to do the task you deem impossible.
