But it does mean something is not right.

Not necessarily.

Sometimes it's the best arrangement for both parties.

Any presumption that *something is wrong* is just speculation without knowing the facts.

There was nothing *not right* about the arrangement I had with my parents. And when I got married and moved out, I had no problem adjusting to being on my own and responsible.

The photo in the story. Does anyone want to kiss a girl with a stick thru her nose?

Most 1 bedroom apartments are $1,200 and up in the San Fernando Valley. Maybe 600 to 700sq/ft plus you pay electric.

The apartments below is just ridiculous. In Calabasas, CA area with the Kardasians and other celebs just up a hill a mile or so away.

525sq/ft for just $1,729 a month. Plus you pay utilities...
http://www.malibucanyonliving.com

For 1070sq/ft you only pay $3002 and up!!

I drive by this on the way back to my apartment about 15 miles away where it is cheaper, much cheaper.

This place is at least 8 miles from Malibu. No view of the ocean. It is right next to a tall hill so no view. The google reviews tell of thin walls where you can hear your neighbors.

Yes, Trump has given me hope, for sure. But we didn’t get into this mess overnight and won’t get out of it overnight.

Good perspective...

I used to like in Omaha, NE. It was okay, but not hard to understand why a younger person would choose to live in CA instead. Or FL, or Seattle, etc.
When I was 22, I really wanted to live in So Cal. Unfortunately, the Air Force had other ideas.

California has jobs. Way too many people though.

Thank you for your service.

I say kick em out of their families and let an illegal take their spot.
I am sick of these brats using their parents’ monies to subsidize their speech trashing traditional US family. What hypocrisy

One day those brats will grow up and their parents will kick the bucket. THEN they will find out that money does NOT grow on trees, that THEY must be the "responsible adult" and that their own children are fruit from the same loud-mouth tree.
Lol. It WILL happen. Always does.

The issue is that they still cannot find jobs. I am sure many of them would gleefully move to another state if they could could get a job that would pay the bills.
I am not a defending of most snowflakes, but I see how tough it is for my own kids—both of whom graduated from college, both of whom work at least two jobs. And both of whom have way less than $30k in college debt.
Their dumb friends are hurting. The few that are doing well are doing it in jobs that are not traditional.
It is an interesting scenario.

All too true.
My husband and I lived and worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for five l-o-n-g years so we could afford a house that I wanted. We also traveled to SO many places.

When we came home for good through LAX I got down on my hands and knees and KISSED the linoleum floor at LAX because I was so HAPPY to be home for good.

Jobs that pay what people want aren't always available where people live. Folks have to be willing to move.

They can always return "home" one day.

No millennials, stay in California where voting Democrat brings prosperity. You see, other States have problems with ghosts, goblins, bogeymen, underground sand worms, clown monsters, and tyrannosaurus lizard creatures, racists and Nazis.
STAY IN CALIFORNIA!
For your safety, other States have evils.

Lol.

I've been watching the old "UNTOUCHABLES" with Robert Stack. Problems with law breakers has always been around.

I think that the "worst" problem of "other states" is their winters. BRRRRR!!
