After removing Katie Walsh from the White House staff, President Trump now moves to confront the #NeverTrump coalition in congress, Hillarys Favorite Caucus, read on.
More than half of the remaining members of the House Freedom Caucus are still #NeverTrump, entrenched and intransigent Pro-Ted Cruz ideologues. They oppose Trump and have never moved beyond losing in the primary. They are still fighting the 2016 primary race they lost.

What you said!!
Jack Ryan made a major mistake, both policy mistake, tactical mistake and political mistake in pushing a Ryancare that put the cart before the horse.
Trump made a major mistake in promising his support to Ryan during the campaign in exchange for Ryan’s neutrality in the election ... and not going to McMullin.
The Freedom Caucus has great ideology. But they need to build bridges. Just because Norquist, Club for Growth, and other groups are old, does not make them the swamp or the enemy.
Trump, Freedom Caucus, Tom Price, Seema Verma, Heritage, CATO, AFP, club for Growth and all the other groups, and all the real and wannabe leaders need to work on reducing Healthcare cost. Until cost is reduced, how to pay for it is both mathematically and politically impossible.
All of the above are for eliminating regulations in many agencies. They should work together on areas of agreement. Get some wins. Then tackle the harder areas.
Trump is signaling and I can’t read it very well. He is not explaining why the Caucus isn’t his much better ally on Health Care than Ryan, who sure as hell is not.
Looks like the House of Representatives should have been sending the Senate the most conservative bill possible, because they’re going to rip it, and then the two Houses will have to come back together to negotiate the difference, in Conference. Ryan created the least conservative rag he could, ignoring the Caucus.
Ryan claimed that pleasing the Senate Parliamentarian was the touchstone for passage. Mike Lee then speaks to the Parliamentarian himself, on behalf of the FC, and discovers Ryan’s claims were a crock.
Trump did not comment on this event at all.
Playing footsie with Ryan is like petting a rattlesnake. And, I know a lot of the FC were sewn, during the primaries, to Ted Croozes socks, including Louis Gomert, who only recently has come out of sulking posture and that was only to deal with his disappointment with this stink-o RyanCare bill.
Of course, none of these johnny-finally-come-latelys are much behind Trump the man, but do show up when the legislation tricks begin.
I dunno, maybe there is something to this disdain Trump has voiced of late towards them. Something is sure odd. It’s as if Trump feels double crossed, would be my sense, if this stuff is even real. Call me dazed when he appears to prop up Paul Ryan.
Freedom Caucus leader Justin Amash called on Trump to withdraw from the presidential race last October and then refused to vote for him. Has he apologized yet?
From what I have read Amash is not listed as the leader of the Freedom Caucus—I looked—unless you have articles claiming him as the leader, stop stating him as such.
No, Amash did not vote for Trump and he has not been a supporter. I have never been a fan of Amash and have not appreciated his tweets against Trump.
Actually, if you do a Google search, Mark Meadows is considered the leader...and he is on record supporting Trump as GOP nominee on May 11, 2016. Trump actually mentioned Meadows in tweets regarding healthcare, so it would seem that if there is a leader, Meadows is that person.
Just in case you were unaware, through more research...over half of the Freedom Caucus went on the record endorsing/supporting and voting for Trump.
Paul Ryan reacted the same way to the pussy tape.
Has he apologized yet?
“They killed that crap sandwich of a bill Ryan put up.”
The FC nominated and re-nominated Ryan as speaker.
They’ve been elected and re-elected on repealing Obolacare. They could have killed it in its crib 6 years ago, instead they’ve been funding it.
After 6 years of promises....IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME TO RYANCARE 2.0...WHY DIDN’T THE CAPONS IN CONGRESS HAVE THEIR SH!T TOGETHER AND DELIVER FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?
Because they’re kabuki frauds, that’s why.
Pull your collective heads out of your puckered sphincters.
Yes, of course, 0bama would have signed that bill. LOL
Do you really think anyone here is mush-headed enough to believe that the HFC runs the House and has for six years?
He doesn’t have to sign it...goron.
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Ryan’s bill is 100% Chamber of Commerce. It’s a big time insurance industry subsidy and is a complete F.U. to this country’s drowning middle class.
It does nothing to reign in costs or trigger free market mechanics and everything to solidify socialized medicine in this country for all eternity. It’s a total fail in all respects.
Trump: “We must fight them (conservatives) in 2018!”.
“More than half of the remaining members of the House Freedom Caucus are still #NeverTrump, entrenched and intransigent Pro-Ted Cruz ideologues. They oppose Trump and have never moved beyond losing in the primary. They are still fighting the 2016 primary race they lost.”
I actually looked at the support/voting list of Freedom Caucus members I found~over half, 17 were supportive of Trump. There were only 5 anti-Trumpers.
I agree with your sentiment...
Im not a Never Trumper. Im also not an Ever Trumper. I am a conservative and lover of freedom.
Thank God for the Freedom Caucus!!!!!!!! surely Trump did not want Obamacare Lite to pass.
Let’s review a little history:

...The conservative Republican congressman who led the charge to oust former Speaker John Boehner is now agitating for the removal of his replacement.
Rep. Mark Meadows said Thursday the effort to remove Speaker Paul Ryan is “picking up some steam” because many GOP lawmakers and a stream of callers to the North Carolinian’s congressional offices are incensed the Wisconsin Republican hasn’t embraced fully Donald Trump’s candidacy for president...
They very well could be
It’s funny, dipshit, a search finds that the House Unanimously Nominated Ryan, Trump Supports Ryan’s Nomination and Hardliners Question Ryan’s Nomination but not one article anywhere says that the HC nominated him. Lying dirtbags like you don’t help anything or anyone.

I had forgotten that was Meadows.
What we had before 2009 was also statist care
The senate is worse than the house. The reason the house bill is so watered down is the senate
And if the gFE doesn’t work with trump, you are going to be looking at a dem prez, senate and house in 4 years. Good luck.
Trump was urged, against his better judgement...no doubt by the rinos in his inner circle(Reince or Pense), to back Ryan and McStain. Try again...
