Gowdy Goes After Schumer for Attacking Nunes

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) blasted Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) on Monday for Schumer's criticisms of the House Intelligence Committee chairman.

Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), has been criticized for a trip to the White House he made to go through classified material related to possible surveillance over President Donald Trump during his transition. After Schumer asked Nunes to be removed from his position as chairman, Gowdy went after Schumer, Fox News reports.

"I just love it when Senator Schumer gives Republicans advice on what we ought to do," Gowdy said on Monday. "Devin is doing exactly what the chairman is to do."

"I wish Senator Schumer and some of the other Democrats would be interested in the authenticity and reliability of the underlying data the means by which it was acquired," Gowdy continued.

Gowdy has served on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and was an active watchdog of the Obama administration.

Especially the despicable Schumer. He has never earned an honest dollar in his adult life. After graduating from Haaaarvard in 1974, he ran for and won a seat in a political assembly. He has been in politics ever since. He is a child of privilege, going to elite university and NEVER having to function in the country he helps to construct. He is a man of ZERO real-world experience with enormous authority over an economy he neither understands nor operates within.

In that respect, very much like obama.

I think the democrats are VERY interested in the authenticity of the Intel. That's why they are becoming completely unhinged and wanting everyone that discovers anything to be fired. Something bad going on with the dems and they are freaking that it will come out....in my opinion.

Yours is the only logical explanation for the recent, seemingly unhinged behavior of many Democrats, some Republicans, and certain media actors. While our side may be frustrated, theirs is stricken by horror and dread. They are terrified of the daylight that might be shined upon them.

This is hilarious. Every joint news conference that Nunes and Schiff hold, Nunes tries to give updates on where the committee is and where it’s going. Then when Schiff gets the microphone he uses all his time to accuse Trump of stuff and insinuate he has information that confirms Trump colluded with the Russians. He never gets around to saying what the information is or where it came from, but he assures us it is very serious.

Now Chuck wants Nunes to step down in the spirit of bi-partisanship.

Kudos to Nunes for going directly to the WH with the info he received. He probably felt the democRATS and the FBI are in cahoots to go after Trump on bull shit Russian charges and could not be trusted. One look at democRAT Adam Schiff and one realizes what a snake he is.

It’s a planned coordinated effort by the Rats and the Media to destroy Nunes. Hopefully someone in Alternative Media can find the smoking gun on this effort and bring it to light.

The Dems would love to recuse every single Republican from ANY participation in anything in Congress.

They badger everyone — thinking they can win be intimidation.

there is a new Sheriff in town, and intimidation won’t work like it did in the past.

Schumer is burying himself, IMO.

The new AG will get to the bottom of Shrillary’s misdeeds & criminal activity & that should put a lid on further whining & barking from the rat terriers of the Democrat Party.

I want Trump & the Republicans to get to the truth of Pelosi’s employees in the family restaurants & while they are at it—they can get Maxine Waters indicted for her criminal activity.

Ryan should be telling Schumer to mind his own business.

Democrats are trying to make a big deal out of a Republican representative talking to a Republican president while heading an investigation. Wonder how close Democrats on the committee were with Obama during the Benghazi investigation. Someone should look at how many times Democrat members of the committee visited the WH during that investigation. Also, can anyone name one time when a Democrat recused himself/herself because of conflict of interest — on anything. I cannot recall one time.

Why should the soon-to-be ex Speaker have anything to say?
