Sex Pistols’ Johnny Rotten Backs Trump, Says Presidency is a ‘Joy to Behold’

Punk legend Johnny Rotten has expressed his support for President Trump and described the chaos surrounding his presidency as a “joy to behold”.

The singer and former frontman of The Sex Pistols attacked liberal media outlets in the United States for trying to “smear” Trump by accusing him of racism and said he believes his leadership of the nation will be a force for good.

Rotten (real name John Lydon) spoke out during an appearance on the Good Morning Britain talk show on Monday.

"One journalist once said to me, is he the political Sex Pistol? In a way.

"What I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist and that’s completely not true.

"There’s many, many problems with him as a human being but he’s not that -and there just might be a chance something good will come out of that situation because he terrifies politicians.

"This is joy to behold for me. Dare I say, [he could be] a possible friend."

I KNEW Johnny Lydon was great. He understands marketing and business. The tune Public Image by his later band PIL is one of my all time faves.

Roger Daltrey of the Who is another rocker who holds conservative views — especially on immigration.

"Rise" by Public Image Ltd is one of my favorite songs. I like to hear it every month or two.

And, yes, Johnny Lydon is a very interesting guy. He does NOT tolerate leftist/statist crap. And good for him!

My, My, Hey, Hey

This is the story of a Johnny Rotten

i hated punk rock at first...but that record is a great one...also, it was a very “important” record in rock history. It took rock and roll back to its roots..rebellious and raw. not 15 minute “concept” songs that it had morphed into. Steve Jones made me laugh once. He said the reason we sounded the way we did was “John couldn’t sing. and i couldn’t play guitar”...lol

Free Market Capitalism has been very, very good to Neil Young. One of his homes is a $24M estate in Hawaii...but he continues to rail against the very system that brought him so much wealth - typical Maserati Marxist

This dumbass is one of the biggest hypocrites around. Railed against Trump until Trump embarrassed him when he posted Young’s letters to Trump asking him for money.

"Punk legend Johnny Rotten has expressed his support for President Trump

I'm surprised that he hasn't been completely censored from the British media for saying this....

This is what the millennial leftists do not get: They think they are being rebellious wearing their fashionable black clothes, backpacks, face masks and then smashing windows and burning stuff, yet all they are really doing is defending the status quo - the very elitists they think they are rebelling against, these sc*mbags who sell out the people for their own profit. Do they actually think Hillary Clinton gives one rats ass about them or anybody? If she won the election right now she’d have every crook on the planet lined up to pay her off, she’d be selling out this country and the working class like a cheap yard sale. These kids are so brainwashed today it’s like it’s ingrained in their brain permanently, they are indoctrinated at an early age no different from how Palestinians indoctrinate their kids to hate Jews.

I have often thought that the 70’s English punkers were rebelling against Euro-socialism that governed the U.K in the pre-Thatcher days.

When the Sex Pistols sang about, “no future for you” they were describing what’s it like to live under socialism.

That’s true.

The left wants to take it to the system ... well, Trump is the most anti-establishment candidate in my lifetime. Both the left AND right want to destroy him, and the government apparatus will resist him until it’s literally put out of the business of stealing OUR money and lives from us.

Conservatism has become “punk-rock” as the ESTABLISHMENT is now made up of nothing but Leftists who DEMAND conformity.

Lot of musicians are closet populists and right wingers, particularly in the heavy metal end of the spectrum. They read history and know conspiracy theory and will fight for their right to party. The lefty ideologues fear this element in their culture engineering intitiatives. The entirety of the punk rock scene is in conflict over the issue of freedom vs. political correctness. WELCOME ALL APOSTATES. Defectors is the name of the game in this post Arab Spring “Sitzkrieg” phase of global politics.
