That is true. In fact, even when someone has surgery to alter their genitalia, their DNA doesn’t change - it will NEVER change. Genetically, they are STILL whatever gender they were at birth. If a hundred years go by and a transgender’s skeleton is unearthed, forensic scientists will be able to determine whether the person was originally a male or female just based on bone structure (pelvis, humerus, etc.).
