MEXICO'S CATHOLIC CHURCH: WORK ON TRUMP WALL IS TREASON
Associated Press ^ | March 26,2016 | AP

Posted on 03/26/2017 7:20:47 PM PDT by NoLibZone

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico says Mexican companies that express interest in working on a border wall in the United States are betraying their country.

The archdiocese says in a Sunday editorial that Mexican companies have expressed willingness to supply materials or work on the wall proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The editorial titled "Treason against the Homeland" says that "what is most surprising is the timidity of the Mexican government's economic authorities, who have not moved firmly against these companies."

Didn’t the Catholic Church essentially become an arm of the government after one of Mexico’s earlier revolutions?

The Mexican Catholic Church has severe issues with rapist and child molesting Priests, but I guess the wall is more important to address these days.

I agree. No Mexican company should participate. That way only American companies will profit *and* there won't be any danger of sabotage.

They don’t seem to sing that in Mexican churches.

But Mexico’s Southern wall is not treason. And the wall around the Vatican is not treason. I could add more but I do not want to offend my FRiends who are Catholic.

The reverse is also true. In the US refusing to build a wall is TREASON.

You beat me to it. The reason it would be treason would be the fact that they are using the open border to invade us, as a matter of State policy. I’ve always suspected as much.

When we send our military down there to defend our own country, this announcement from the church means we can treat them as war criminals, in my opinion. Put the priests that say this in internment camps until trial and confiscate church property.

I suggest creating at least a twenty mile demilitarized zone on the Mexican side of the border. No weapons of any kind allowed, either for Mexican military, police, or civilians, including drug Cartels. Better would be an unoccupied zone, with no humans allowed.

If the Mexican government doesn’t agree, we declare war, too. Their act of war has been concealed, but invasion has been their government policy. We just recognize that, and declare war, too, unless they vacate the demilitarized zone. If they want war, I guess we’ll have to whup them in self defense.

Hmmm...catholic church calling companies wanting to supply materials to build the wall traitors. That means, the catholic church in Mexico sees the immigrants here as loyal subjects of the catholic church in mexico and/or here and as such, want them to help them control the land here through political process.

That is a very dangerous thought. Either, we deport them and cause the catholic church to lose much of its control here, OR, we let them stay and seal political control by the catholic church of the land where these people live. Now, THAT should stir some debate now and in the future. If not, people are plain stupid and will get what they deserve.

Wanting to insert your people into a place in order to control the place against the wishes of the people there is an act of war. As a matter of fact, that is what immigrants from the United States did to Mexico by illegally immigrating into Texas and then taking over. We are going to need truckloads of popcorn for this one.

Round up the illegals and sentence them to 18 months on a labor gang building the wall. When their sentence is complete, chuck them on the other side of that wall they’ve built. The church can piss off.

The Catholic church also has a great many priests with bastard children throughout Latin American.

“You can always tell who is the child of a priest.”

the two Mexican entities most against the wall seems to be the drug cartels and the Catholic Church.

“that is what immigrants from the United States did to Mexico by illegally immigrating into Texas and then taking over.”

Woah, woah, woah. Where did that story come from?

The government of Mexico appointed Stephen F. Austin the Empresario of Texas and empowered him to sell or give land to foreign men. This he did. No illegal immigration was involved.

The Mexicans did this because they were afraid of the Comanche, who treated them like sheep to be sheared and slaughtered. They hoped the Comanche would sate themselves on the new Texicans and leave them alone.
