The political elite want America to become a single option health care country. That single option would be Medicaid.

No, it is Medicare for all. Bernie has been especially active in promoting this option.

What Comes Next for Obamacare? The Case for Medicare for All

You ask the President’s next move? A move to the left is my guess. He’s hammering the Freedom Caucus.

Repeal it and then what?...Jordan said that there would be a two year period for transitioning from Obamacare to something else.
Repeal and implement interstate competition.
...Real reason they are avoiding interstate competition...

It would mean state employees who regulate the insurance monopolies in each state would be out of jobs and lobbying monies curtailed...

Ryan, et al, would go up against SEIU...they don’t want that to happen.

This is increasingly becoming the majority opinion among many, especially the millennials.

Based on that Liberal-run poll the country is done. Finished. Kaput. The rest is just so much noise.

Problem is no one really wants to be speaker and be responsible for herding the cats.

Agree. That is the direction we are heading.

I was born in a Communist Country - This is the path to a Venezuelan lifestyle.

My family and I escaped this lifestyle, now it may very well be that I will die in a Communist country run by "elected" Politburo members.

We already have a version of the NKVD/Checka or East German Stassi. And they are feeding what they wish to the Propaganda organs (CNN,etc.)

...Is this just a case of the GOPe not wanting to be critiqued for taking something away....

I certainly do not like what I am about to propose, but it is one path forward.

0bama care is and will implode. The imbedded 0bamacare freebies will melt away and vaporize. Lot’s of folks will be hurt, and that fact is horrible.
The Dems will crawl over broken glass looking for a solution.

Fake tears Schummer told Stephy they have plenty of “fixes” in the hopper to fix obvious problems in 0bamacare.

With Trump driving the Bus, and a little luck, we may not end up with single payer Marxist death panels

The poll is of "adults", not even voters. So let's just hold off on the hysteria for a moment.

It's a standard-issue MSM push poll.

How many times—before the truth sinks in—do we have to see that these polls are bogus, beyond any doubt, and realize they're intended to manipulate public opinion, not report it?

“You ask the President’s next move? A move to the left is my guess. He’s hammering the Freedom Caucus.”

Yep, his first tweet was against the democrats. Now, he’s attacking actual conservatives. This is why I was for Cruz, as I believed him to actually be a conservative. Too late now, I guess. Looks like we are moving towards a more European style socialist democratic model of big government. Individual responsibility is so passe now.

The FC with a few exceptions voted twice for Ryan to be Speaker. Despite GOP control of the House since 2010, there was no federal budget during the 8 years of Obama, just Omnibus bills that funded everything Obama wanted. The GOP will be tougher against Trump than they were ever against Obama. The Uniparty will do whatever is necessary to defeat and embarrass him.

There are many fights ahead within the GOP on implementing Trump's agenda. It will be a Mexican standoff as various factions refuse to compromise and form a consensus. Tax reform will be another contentious issue. McConnell has already said there will be no tax reform this year.

Well I’d like to take full credit for the genius. But it was my brother-in-law who came up with the scenario that makes a whole lot of sense.

Here’s the thing about health care in America....no matter who you are, we will not deny someone health care, no matter their addictions, no matter their weight, no matter their sexual status, no matter anything.

Various and sundry examples we could discuss but it’s not going to be denied.

Let us not forget we have over 11 million illegals in this country so we will take care of them too. We will not deny them and arguments could rage whether that’s the right thing. For now, it’s what we have, as a society, decided to do.

Maybe we didn’t vote for it but if we see someone dying , we call help and we take care of it.

Of course this costs a lot of money.

The Medicaid at birth option fits all the bills.

First and foremost, it satisfies that bit about pre-existing conditions. That’s a big thorn in the side of this concept called “insurance” so every American, at birth will have protection for medical conditions they suddenly came upon, or emergencies....those things that we would take care of anyway.

Also, that thing about being 26 years old on parents’ insurance, perhaps it was because I hit this big snag with my own daughter, who, coincidentally, had Muncheussen and loved the hospitals. We had private health insurance which paid for crazy daughter but they dropped her at age 19!

Nobody need health insurance more than her....even if all fake.

But why get in a big fight about it? Most people under 26, never mind my nutjob daughter, are reasonably healthy. Just boom, dropping someone seems abrupt as young people around that age don’t usually have great jobs paying marvelous health benefits.

which is not to say that these youngsters under age 26 but at an adult age shouldn’t have to PAY for this coverage. My daughter was offered COBRA but hell no, I didn’t pay it for her.

The bigger point is that the health insurance should remain an option until after age 26 when normal people have a job.

But the Medicaid card we all will have will also take care of this.

Then we get the CIGNAs and the AETNAs jumping in and paying for abortions, gender changes, whatever the hell we’ll be willing to pay for. For the right price, they will provide our birth control.

So the rest of the country doesn’t have to constantly debate every little pill or stitch.

Yeah....I think this is the plan.

It might even be a good plan but got to think more on that.

I end with noting I watch Tom Cotton on Face the Nation and I still think he is incredibly handsome.

The best thing we can do is fix it. Yes repeal all of it and put common sense fixes in place but don’t call it repeal, but FIXED

The Democrats main goal is to regain power. In concert with obstructionists Republicans, they dealt a devastating blow to ever repealing and replacing Obamacare. With the NeverTrumpers, they will continually oppose other agenda items of the most conservative Republican administration in our lifetime playing to the 2018 midterms.

Democrats passed Obamacare with party discipline. Republicans let it continue with party disunity. President Trump, Vice President Pence, and Speaker Ryan were betrayed by Republicans and so Obamacare will survive.

Congrats. Fellow Pacific Northwest team Gonzaga also made it to the final four for the first time. First time since 1959-60 that a northwest team made the final four. Now the northwest has two teams in.

If each team wins its first final four game, then we will have an all northwest national championship game, Oregon vs Gonzaga!

Oregon will play the winner of the Kentucky/North Carolina matchup in the final four. Gonzaga plays the winner of the South Carolina/Florida matchup in the other final four game.

Trump needs to knock Ryan down a few pegs, or completely out of the Speakers chair.
Ryan is against building the Wall.

This set back, of Ryan’s plan (six years in development), hurts Ryan

Our public schools and universities have done an excellent job of liberal indoctrination. They produce millions of new voters every year.

If we want to pass something this year, it has to be part of budget reconciliation. I assume we would have to wait at least a year to try again.

Ryan represents a significant portion of the GOP House membership. There are more of his supporters than there are members of the FC. The RINOs run the GOP.

Well I was the same way when in college cousin Mike!

I became a flaming liberal and was convinced I was too cool for school.

I’d argue it’s a normal part of life.....BUT....we do keep packing those schools with fake Indian maidens like Elizabeth Warren and such until that’s all the college students know.

The solution is for more conservative....read NORMAL....people to become college professors. They pay real well I hear.

I remember when I got my first lesson in life. It was during the presidency of the wonderful Jimmy Carter, worst president before today and forever in the future.

The interest on houses rose so high that there was no way I would ever be able to sell the house I lived in or buy something better. It was a nice enough place but small. I wanted larger, perhaps children someday.

So I stood out in the small backyard and shrugged. Well at least I got THIS house, something a whole lot of people my age at the time did not have.

Then I got mad. And let’s not forget sitting in huge gas lines in the morning because I had to get to work to pay for that house. Oh, and the Iranian hostage crisis, when I was actually dating a real Persian, ask me about it sometime.

Jimmy Carter.

Ronald Reagan came along and I’d never be a stupid liberal again.
