After failing to repeal Obamacare, Republicans in the U.S. Congress quickly pivoted on Friday to President Donald Trump's next priority: overhauling the federal tax code, but their plan has already split the business community.

“Trump, Ryan and McConnell better have a strategy to get both sides (of GOP) in line on tax cuts.

Or its over.”

Undercutting Trump further on Taxes, the Debt Ceiling, and Immigration, will effectively make it “over” for the Pubs, regardless of what is presented for a Pub vote. The disunified Pubs will kill Trump off regardless of what is presented for a vote. And will kill themselves off right along with him.

> And here’s hoping that President Trump sends HIS tax bill to Congress, and does NOT let that lying, RINO, GOPe, weasel Paul Ryan write it.

Agree 100%

I think the FC is like me a dog that catches the car. They don’t know what to do when they succeed. They got Boner booted but had no plan to put a conservative in so we got Ryan. Now they kill Ryan’s bill but do not have a replacement ready to go, despite having years to plan for this opportunity. There is really no telling what these guys will do next as long term planning doesn’t seem to be their strong point.

The sole metric by which I’m judging Trump is the influx of third world migrants (”legal” and “illegal”) into my homeland. If he drastically reduces the influx, he is a success. If not, he is a failure. (and the USA ends)

I was going to comment, but then after reading yours, I realized that there was nothing I could say that would top your excellent statement.

Remember when what the freedom caucus wanted was we wanted.

Now we’re playing with Monte Hall.

With both chambers of congress and a 22 trillion debt.

What a shame man.

I was wrong thinking the HUGE changes that were needed to save the country were gonna be made.

They’ll be band aids...but they will fall off with the next dem president.

Yes, after all, it has been two whole months.

Jeez, Louise, man, get a grip!

Bro, two months or two years ain’t gonna change the fact that we don’t have conservative, or at least nearly enough in the house and senate.

I’m not a prophet. But that ain’t gonna change.

RINOs will win next time like they JUST DID last year.

Everyone knew ryan an mccain and others were rino pos last year and they still won.

We don’t have a king. We have a president. And a uniparty that will DRASTICALLY curtail what could have been done.

Sometimes you get a little overwrought. We all do.

The fact is, instant gratification doesn't always happen when there's an arduous Revolution on.

Maybe we'll have to settle for band-aids in some cases, but it's certainly not productive to throw one's hands up in defeat just because things aren't happening as quick as we'd like.

I happen to think that there will be ample opportunity for this President to achieve some great things, given a little patience on everyone's part.

But if patience is something that's not possible for you, you're setting yourself up for a lot more disappointment, I'm afraid.

Keep the faith and keep your powder dry, dp...

Apparently from this absurd agenda, they are only capable of doing one thing at a time -— and not even doing that right?

The gang that can’t shoot straight.

TRUMP needs to call the shots and make examples out of anyone not supporting his agenda.

Trump IS the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Congress and the Courts are nothing but a bunch of corrupt scumbag politician lawyers.

If Rush and company start calling a tax cut bill a tax increase, or call it Obamacare, the results will be predictable.

Remember January 2011 with the tax cut extension bill,
