Delusional David Gergen: Trump’s First 100 Days ‘Worst We’ve Ever Seen’

3 shares David Gergen is clearly having trouble with reality. After the Republican ObamaCare repeal bill was pulled, the CNN analyst on Friday insisted that Donald Trump’s first 100 days are the “worst we’ve ever seen.” The worst? Worse than William Henry Harrison who died before his first 100 days were completed?

Worse than Lincoln having to deal with secession in his first 100 days and being assassinated in the second 100 days? Worse that John Kennedy with the Bay of Pigs debacle? Gergen began, “A lot of presidents had trouble in their first hundred days.” He sputtered, “When you add up the totality of it... I actually think this may be the worst hundred days we've ever seen in a president.”

A transcript is below:

Lead With Jake Tapper 3/24/17 4:55PM ET

DAVID GERGEN: And I think it's also fair to say that a lot of presidents stumble. A lot of presidents had trouble in their first hundred days.

JAKE TAPPER: Bill Clinton had trouble in his first hundred days.

GERGEN: Bill Clinton had trouble. Jack Kennedy had his Pay of Pigs in the first hundred days. When you add up the totality of it, you said this is the worst week of his presidency. I actually think this may be the worst hundred days we've ever seen in a president. Maybe it will get better. But earlier this week he has credibility, take a direct hit over the wiretapping. Now his capacity is taking a direct hit. He came to us as the deal maker. His ultimate promise was he's the deal maker, make the system work. That’s so clearly failed.

That douche Gergen is challenged to understand that it’s far, far easier to give stuff away to lazy, entitled deadbeats (ObamaCare, (un)Stimulus, etc.) than to reign in run-away entitlements.

At least Trump isn’t hellbent on kissing the arses of terrorists like his predecessor Barry was. Let us not forget the second B. Hussein took office, the very first thing he did was try to get his Islamo buds out of Gitmo. Anyone remember this? The executive order to close Gitmo? Look at the date of this article. He took office January 20th 2009.

The 16-year-old girl’s once-beautiful face was grotesque.

She had been disfigured beyond all recognition in the 18 months she had been held captive by the Comanche Indians.

Now, she was being offered back to the Texan authorities by Indian chiefs as part of a peace negotiation.
To gasps of horror from the watching crowds, the Indians presented her at the Council House in the ranching town of San Antonio in 1840, the year Queen Victoria married Prince Albert.

‘Her head, arms and face were full of bruises and sores,’ wrote one witness, Mary Maverick. ‘And her nose was actually burnt off to the bone. Both nostrils were wide open and denuded of flesh.’

Once handed over, Matilda Lockhart broke down as she described the horrors she had endured — the rape, the relentless sexual humiliation and the way Comanche women had tortured her with fire. It wasn’t just her nose, her thin body was hideously scarred all over with burns.
