I’m not trying to get you to say anything. I asked you about the FSA and about Raqqa. If you don’t know or don’t care to answer, fine. You brought up McCain, and in some sort of guilt by association tried to claim I am him, and then I’m in the FBI. What weird accusation is next?

Okay, you don’t understand Syria and you think if someone doesn’t support putin he is McCain or in the FBI. Have a nice day.

I sincerely doubt this general's story here. Russia lost a lot of blood and treasure fighting against the Taliban before the US went in there.... I can't imagine any budding new kinship developing any time soon.

What's this general's history? How did he survive 8 years of Obama's purges of the good guys from the military?

I don’t like him. I suppose I posted about him when he opposed water boarding. The thread wasn’t about him until you wanted to hijack it to discredit General Scapparotti.

He led troops in Korea in a fight tonight type environment. It’s possible he’s a fabulist since his views don’t comport with the visions of those who disagree with him.

“Mark Levin was a lot more emotional and vocal with this tripe some weeks ago on a Friday night.”

Mark Levin is always emotional, and is a NeoHawk when it comes to Russia.

>>Go back through all the news stories of the past decade.

>>You just don’t find anyone talking some connection between the Russian government and the Taliban.
>>No one ever suggests that a relationship exists.

If you don’t know something, you shouldn’t speak as if you do. It might mislead some people.

A simple shows you are way wrong.

It isn’t only McCain and Graham that views Russia as a threat, it’s every conservative leader out there, including Trump’s top administration picks, Mike Pence, UN ambassador, Nikki Haly, Jeff Sessions, and Ted Cruz.

Check out my FR home page for more about it.

I pulled up the top ten stories listed from this yahoo search.

Only one of the ten talked to supplying anything to the Taliban...oddly, it’s by a Obama-appointed general (Nicholson). In his statement...he doesn’t qualify a single thing...he just says supplying. He doesn’t say bullets, rifles, or anything much else. Maybe it’s classified but his statement is weak without any further evidence.

The rest of these stories...meetings between Russians and Taliban...mostly to discuss the newest enemy to appear in Afghanistan...ISIS.

You remember ISIS...that’s the thugs that John McCain helped out in 2011/2012 for the Syrian civil war, and the US apparently supplied weapons to, from Libya. Yeah, that ISIS.

The rest of these stories are all weak, marginal efforts to hint of the ‘evil’ Russia. A year ago, I would have bought off on stupid stories like that. I want people to cite actual facts.

This General Flynn story from yesterday bothers me a lot....the guy sold out his services to Erdogan. He would have been a Erdogan-stooge in Trump’s advisory staff if the FBI thing hadn’t scared him off. We all need to be skeptical of stories being told and what’s actually truthful and has facts behind it. Speculation or false writing from some think-tank has become a huge problem now.

From FreeBeacon, an excellent patriot website...

The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan said Thursday that Russia and Iran are supporting the Taliban in part to undermine the U.S. and NATO mission to attain peace and stability in the nation.

Army Gen. John Nicholson told the Senate Armed Services Committee that Iran is providing the Taliban in western Afghanistan with military and logistical support.

Tehran also is recruiting Shiite fighters in Afghanistan to fight against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, raising concerns that these militants will return and destabilize the nation , Nicholson testified. ...”

Russia IS evil. Putin’s aim is to basically restore the Soviet Union, and then-some when you add in positions in the stragtic oil/gas-rich Middle East.

Good thing Flynn got the boot. The guy was a Russia stooge. He was a life-long democrat and Obama appointee, and completely at odds with Trump top administration picks Pence, Haly, Sessions, and others, on the subject of Russia and KGB Putin. See my FR home for lots more on this.

Yes, excellent source. It’s a putin-owned propaganda organ. But if you want to believe putin propaganda, if you’re gullible, a quisling, a dolt, or just indifferent, go ahead.

So you’re saying U.S. propaganda is better than Russia propaganda. If that’s true that leaves you being considered a moron.
