Good evening, beachy....things seemed to be going fairly well until 2:30a this morning. She called, I went in, and she was on the floor. She said there was a slippery part on the bed and she just slid off. I had to call the neighbor and he came over and got her up and back on the bed.

Other than that, the worst problem is the pretty much non-stop hallucinations. Every night after work I hear about all the goings on, the signs, the tree cutters, the folks waiting in line for the dirigible, and the kitty in bed with her. Then I need to let her know that I understand she “sees” them, but they are not real. I can handle these fairly well, but I can’t get her up from the floor.

I need to make an appointment with Hospice of Anchorage to come and make an assessment of what more I can do. She does not what someone to come in, and if she’s falling at night...this creates the possible need for 24 hour care. This is a huge issue!

Spring is trying, but we are still single digits at night after all day melting. LOTS of slippery outside lanes this morning. ((HUGS))
