The Trump administration is making it tougher for millions of visitors to enter the United States by demanding new security checks before giving visas to tourists, business travelers and relatives of American residents.
Diplomatic cables sent last week from Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson to all American embassies instructed consular officials to broadly increase scrutiny. It was the first evidence of the “extreme vetting” Mr. Trump promised during the presidential campaign.

The complete visa application and the consular officers notes can be seen by CBP at the POE. Believe me the information is there and visa holders are often denied entry if their travel plans are inconsistent with their application.
Living your dream. Currently, applicants give ten prints that are matched against databases. If the applicant later has a law enforcement encounter that is reported back and the visa can be canceled if warranted.
Not only big news but welcomed news. We need to hold these applicants feet to the fire to get here and once here track their every move. I am all far GPS tracking devices in all VISAs issued to these visitors. It may not help to track all of the law breakers but if the US was smart it could come up with some algorithms to monitor if the card was actively moving or where it should be by VISA request.

These are VISAs that we are talking about here or do you not get it. VISAs are for NON CITIZENS and I personally WANT these people POLICED. That is the problem right now with our VISA system. They come over here and overstay their VISA and the Federal Government does NOTHING about it so we have millions of ILLEGAL people that should be sent back home. Hell, yes police our VISA system.

Golly. I understand that. I know what a visa is and I know how it works. But, we as a country, will never ever, subject anyone to constant monitoring. That really is a police state. I am as concerned about security as you are, but I don’t think dehumanizing someone is the answer. Besides, there are a ton of countries in which there is no visa requirement, such as, all of Europe and plenty more. Betcha thought I didn’t know that, did you?
Surprisingly, this is exactly the main tactic that Israeli border agents employ successfully. Psyops works well for them.
Look out: some _pieceful_religion_ person may file a Federal lawsuit and cancel this and the next USGov efforts to protect us from their brothers.
