Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News.

The Establishment smugly thought it would never get to this point. They were certain they could knock President Trump out in the primaries or the election. Once it started to look like he could actually win they realized they better find some cover story just in case and thus the “Russia-Trump connection” was born.
Those still pushing this idiocy are the ones who are most likely complicit in the crime. The two party crime syndicate is once again being exposed as the enemy of the people. Obama could not have done this without help from high ranking Republican committee members.

Just watched Nune’s afternoon press briefing, he is getting weak-needed with, “It was all legal” repeated over and over. They got to him. I wouldn’t hold my breath on anything being released tomorrow.
If the media was fair, this story would be the headline of the day every day. This is a HUGE scandal. Even if it was done legally, the very fact of spying on your political rival and his transition team, is beyond the pale. There was a time in America when the media would have been spitting blood over this from either party, and the American public would be hoisting the torches and pitchforks.
This scandal is huge. The commedia will do everything they can to play it down and protect Obama.
Here is hoping a Grand Jury is soon seated to break this scandal wide open.
Obama was counting on Hilary’s win to sweep all this under the carpet, but now it is out.
Also, the commie Dems have ONLY themselves to thank for this. If they hadn’t pushed so hard on the “Trump used Russia to get Hilary” angle, there would have been no reason for Trump to tweet about Obama wiretapping him, and this whistleblower never gets this information to Nunez.
This is a repeat of Hilary’s server. If she just said “I am sorry for my mistake” about Bengazi, the story would have died and nobody would have discovered she had an off-site, unsecured server for Wikileaks to hack into.

NO, he did not say it was all “legal”. He said the dissemination of the information appeared legal. The dissemination was, at least to the point that Obama made the last minute change for all of the 18 intelligence agencies with sensitive information could handle it before deciding on privacy issues. They could share the information among themselves — Obama made that LEGAL.
Nunez did not even reference the crimes, which were leaking the unmasked names to the press (felony), and the unmasking of names of Americans “incidentally” surveilled (another felony).
There are plenty of serious crimes here for a Grand Jury to investigate and recommend for prosecution if they can find the guilty parties. This SCANDAL is just in its infancy. Nunez has not backed off at all and has said he is going to reveal more information tomorrow to the committee, and I assume to the White House.
This is not the end. This is just beginning.

The reason this will be a bigger deal that ‘just’ a smoking gun is that it could potentially prove that the spying happened BEFORE obama changed the rules about spying- which meant he and ilk were in violation of the current law back then
