President Trump is facing calls to retract and apologize for his sensational claim that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower last year. The chances of that happening are approximately zero, but Trump can meet his critics partway.

Made Goodwin should know better. Trump has been correct 100% of the time. I suspect that there will be more and more information that support the claims that Trump was wiretapped.

Personally I believe that Obama knew exactly what was going on. He may not have ordered it specifically but he was made aware of “results”. I believe that was the reason for his order expanding the distribution of raw “intelligence” data with the hope of increased likelihood of a leak. That said, no one has explained why Trump or his associates are/were being “investigated” for Russian connections. Who gave that order and once given, how could the FBI and intel services investigate the supposed collusion without surveillance? Who, below then President Obama would authorize the surveillance of the opposing party candidate and continued surveillance of the president elect? Finally, one has to wonder how Hillary, during the campaign and debates brought up the Russian connection theory unless she knew there was an investigation/surveillance going on. And, where would she get that information — possibly from a tarmac meeting?
Now wasn't that easy.

When Republicans are in office the press is more than happy to say it’s the Administration’s fault - meaning the guy in charge - since they SHOULD HAVE KNOWN & stopped...whatever...they think is a crime. So now Trump is calling out Zero, because HIS administration was obviously spying on Trump’s campaign & providing Hillary with info. Otherwise, how did she know that a Russian bank had suspicious contact with a server in Trump Tower?
Don’t apologize to the lying media. They have already proved the point that surveillance was occurring.
