KEEP THIS ON THE FRONT BURNER——The Royal Idiot signed an order as he was about to exit “to share raw info between agencies.”

That was his back-ended act to “legitimize” the issues under discussion here.

He needed a paper trail to cover his royal ***.

Okay then, if a lot of people don’t end up in jail, we can assume that a precedent has been established.

BOB WOODARD IS ON TRUMP'S SIDE: “You’ve got this really serious problem potentially of people in the Obama administration passing around highly classified gossip,” Wash/Po's Bob Woodward said. “The idea that there was intelligence value was really thin,” Woodward added. "They knew this information was floating around the intelligence agencies." Woodward called the leaking of names “inappropriate” and possibly illegal. "If Nunes’ statements are true, it would be a “gross violation.”

===================================================

Adds up to major problems for Obama and his minions.

<><> clearly, the intent was to abuse Obama's executive power.

<><> the Obama minions got FISA court to approve a warrant submitted without Trump’s name but “which Obama then misused to spy on Trump and many connected to Trump.”

<><> that might mean perjury for lying to the FISA court,.

<><> Most serious is the dissemination of collected intelligence, including names of Americans, that should have been kept tightly classified.

(REAGANGENERATION2 HAT TIP)

===============================================

It is also entirely possible that Obama and his legal team may have perjured themselves before the FISA court by willfully withholding material information in order to manipulate the FISA court’s willingness to permit the government surveillance. And falsified official govt documents in the process.

Mollie Hemingway is terrific.

This is clearly the best article on this matter so far.

“I (Nunes) also said while there was not a physical wiretap of Trump Tower...”

That line of reasoning will one day go down as an example of the tortured thought patterns and deceptions of politicians. And talking heads. And the MSM. It is kissing cousin of Clinton’s “it depends on what the definition of is, is”.

Does there exist a person in this day and age that thinks that the spooks need a physical tap for surveillance?

Next, the hundred year old definition of surveillance will be assumed and trotted out — eyeballing someone — during the subsequent committee hearings.

This makes Watergate look like a misdemeanor.

It has also been read on this site that Rep. Hoekstra spoke with Mark Styen who filled in for Rush Limbaugh’s program today. According to the Representative, the written transcripts of this wiretap investigation were sent directly to then Resident BO’B White House. As Sean Spicer noted today at the PC, the investigative press is nonexistent.

Precisely. Wiretapping has become a generic term for electronic spying by the government.

People still dial phone numbers when they call someone despite the demise of rotary phones decades ago.

And Barry sent raw intelligence data to Hillary who tweeted about it prior to the election.

By saying his phones were tapped he started the media down the road of investigating the claim in order to disprove it. So they’ve been baited into a) trying to prove a negative, and b) made it onto a huge story that has prompted a Congressional inquiry already showing results, and c) forgotten that at worst all Trump has to do in a few weeks is say, “Sorry, I misspoke. More precisely the Obama administration illegally surveilled my home, my family, my employees, and my close associates under a warrant for use only to spy on foreign agents. They then collected and disseminated the information collected, again illegally. So, my bad for not being clearer. AG Sessions will be pursuing indictments of everyone involved. Next question?”

“..appeared to be little or no foreign intelligence value in the spreading of information regarding the political opponents of the previous administration.”

The few times I’ve see this comment today I’ve thought what most folks here already know.

The ‘value’ of spreading info about political opponents wasn’t meant to be about foreign intelligence, but about keeping them from getting elected or trying to get them out of office soon after they were elected.

#4 Post - Liz

The most concerning aspect was the facial expressions of Devin Nunes. It looked like he had just been to the scene of an accident and learned that loved ones had died.

The words are one thing, but the look on his face conveyed a message of grave concern.

The way he released the data got the information out in the wild before the media and Mr. Schiff had a chance to reformulate and discredit the report.

Sessions recused himself from anything to do with the Russia-Trump investigation.

The fact that Nunes explicitly stated that the surveillance had nothing to do with Russia, means that Sessions has a green light to go after the people involved in this illegal surveillance.

You know this info was seen by Obama and his people, but I really hope some of this info crossed Comey’s desk and was passed along!

They need to all burn.

I think Nunes’ facial expressions reveal his concerns over the fact that he just now realized thatthe Deep State exists, and that there are powerful people in all branches of government who have been corrupted...including the FBI director who perjured himself before Congress.
