This isn't complicated. No vote means the DOW will TANK on Friday. And any further momentum on the economy, and all the other things including the wall, et all, are dead and Schumer and Pelosi wins.
As the DOW tanks, the Democrats and their left wing MSM will be non-stop 24x7 telling the American people that "Trump destroyed the economy!".
Enough Americans will believe it to put the Democrats back in power.
The "conservatives" - those 20 fools - are now the do nothing Republicans. They will taint this Congress as once again the Do Nothing Congress. They say if we vote YES and get 80%, 90% of what we want, it is not good enough. Better to do nothing, vote no, let the Democrats continue to run everything even if the minority. These "conservatives" such as the Ted Cruz for President 2020 NeverTrump types, say we cannot say yes and then make additional changes after the tax cuts because "we cannot do anything or change anything" after phase one.
But for some reason they say, we cannot tweak anything later if this passes but we CAN forward an entire new one later. Really? Why would they be able to have the momentum later to do something from scratch if they cannot make tweaks to a good bill later?
There won't be ANY momentum later. Not to start over from scratch, not for anything. Trump momentum will be scratched not just this chance. There won't be any momentum anymore. For nothing. The DOW will crash and Trump will be destroyed by the fake news and the Democrats, and I along with the majority of the Republican base will NOT blame Trump.
We will blame Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and those 20 idiots along with the Democrats. I was about to retire. My retirement will be destroyed because John McCain, Lindsey Graham hates Trump and because Ted Cruz thinks he will emerge as the heroic black horse for President 2020 as he and these idiots destroy the Trump momentum and the Do Nothing Congress delivers NOTHING and they destroy our economy and allow the Democrats to run the show.

Ted Cruz is a delusional turd and is part of destroying the future and he will NOT be the herioc black horse in 2020, he will be dog crap, and I am watching my retirement be destroyed right before my eyes and I will blame Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, McCain, Graham along with the evil Democrats who will take back power and that will be the end.

We heard this crap for 8 years while George W. Bush was president, and he never governed as a conservative. We’re not settling.
All is lost because they can’t salvage Obamacare, something they were supposed to do away with? All the times they voted to repeal it before and now that they’re “in charge” they can’t seem to find a way to do it?
At the present, there is little irrational fear showing up in trading of those options (I looked at slightly out of the money SPY and QQQ puts for April 7th).

I am not nearly as prophetic nor fatalistic as you. I personally believe that this market, whatever the hell it is, seems oddly outside the common norm of expectations based on reason.
Frankly, the last 8 years have shown us this market acts in odd ways indeed. It seems to have believed the BLS jobs month-to-month bullshit and probably figured out along the way how to engineer the taxpayer footing the risk.
I never have considered a bunch of brokers, sellers, misery merchants and go-betweens as experts who had any real contributions to make other than taking your damn money. If they ever were any good, they wouldn’t be taking your money - they’d be taking the money out of the market.
The ‘market’ is for those with the money to make a buck off a millisecond, or it is for those who know how to make a buck off an idiot with more money than sense.

I agree. No insurance can make you healthy. No one in this country is denied medical aid regardless of their ability to pay. We had one old derelict in our town that ran up $2.5 million in ambulance, hospital, and doctor fees. He never paid a dime. He never had insurance. Yet he was transported to the hospital by ambulance often more than once a day.
Insurance is meant for one thing only... protecting your assets in case of financial disaster. That is all that it can do. If you have no assets, in this country it makes no sense to have insurance. The government has no business in it.
