Rich was originally from Nebraska and was known as a rising star within the Democratic organization. His death came weeks before WikiLeaks leaked thousands of DNC emails, which hurt the party by creating the impression that leaders favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders from winning, which has caused some to wonder if WikiLeaks had been working with Rich before his sudden death.
Rich, 27, was the Democrats' director of voter expansion data. Early Sunday morning, he was shot multiple times in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of the nation's capital. Police officers soon arrived on the scene, but Rich died shortly after at a local hospital.

The trail of the DNC leaks leads right to murdered Mr. Rich.
His family may be democrats but this young man reminds me of my nephew who works in DC for a lobbyist and would have jumped at having this guy’s job. We love him but he’s sort of an outlier in this family.
I think I remember this happening. Was one left to think it was either a robbery or something gone wrong....or else a big mystery. It really got hushed up fast it seems. I guess they couldn’t prove that Trump...or Romeny....or Gingrich or some other white guy killed him, so nobody cared.
If his parents with his girlfriend would do an AskMeAnything with us and reddit and 4chan we could solve it in an hour.
