Check out this quote from FBI Director James Comey’s testimony to Congress today:
“…It’s perfectly legal for someone attending a classified briefing to LIE TO THE PRESS about what they heard in that meeting. The FBI cannot go out and correct the record because then they’d be “commenting on Classified information…”

He’s useless, and he’s the HEAD of the FBI. Imagine how bad so many of the others are.
Yeah and I think he’s wrong and deliberately being very narrow in looking at liberal crime. A false leak may also contain some true classified info but he had no interest in figuring that out. But on anything anti Trump he couldn’t be straight in answers.
I can’t figure out what the deal is with Comey..my only conclusion can be
1. He has blackmail material
OR
2. Trump wants him because he serves some sort of purpose.
And why is Mccabe still around????
I think he is massively setting out to justify “investigation” of Trump which was an abuse. Meanwhile he can’t figure anything to do about leakers, Hillary, etc.
Trump has to fire this mental case and subversive.

Trump should just eliminate the FBI, NSA, CIA, Homeland Security and all the other “intel” agencies and build a great new one from scratch.

I’ve been reading the Twitter pages of a couple of lawyers I know who are retweeting rather famous liberal lawyers and they’re in the midst of planning “impeachment.”
Of course, the LSM are happier than crowing roosters in a barnyard filled with plump hens. Comey is their new hero right along with their blazing star Adam Schiff.
Why, exactly, did Trump leave him in place? Did I miss something?

I think he is laying cover for Dems who are going to be exposed as lying to the public about classified security issues. I recently read that Feinstein came out of a meeting with Comey grey in the face and stunned. Later she was quoted as saying she thinks Trump will be impeached. I think she “gets” to imply that Trump was indicated in misdeeds this way per Comey’s “lying rule” (so his remarks lay cover for her if/when she is exposed).
Reminds me of a college professor (Business Ethics) who warned that people who cite the law to you (e.g., “it’s legal to lie”) are tacitly admitting to unethical behavior. So Dem cover attempts may be, “but...but...there’s no law that says ...” in an attempt to get away from the fact that elected officials are betraying the public trust and undermining democracy.
There have been several articles passing in front of my eyes lately about the commieprog lawyers planning to do impeachment, funded by Soros of course.
We live in the post-modern era, ethics are everything but of importance to most in fedgov service and in other settings as well in my experience. Folks who tell lies because they cannot tell the truth ( as in a knowing but not being able to divulge classified material) are spreading falsehood and disrupting the truth by subversive story-telling.
In the past the “I can neither confirm nor deny” boiler plate was sufficient to move on, now, it seems even “conservatives” cannot bear to not say something- even if it is absolutely untrue- just for the sound bite “value” on the news.
I think people are now of the erroneous opinion that telling lies does not hurt the truth. The fact is the truth is often obfuscated by the layer upon layer of lies told before the truth is eventually exposed, but by then the narrative is so full of error that the truth cannot be accepted.
The New Dark Ages are upon us.
Impeachment over what? And even if there’s evidence of collusion with Russia it appears that would be advisors and not Trump. Look, Trump and his campaign was being monitored because the media admitted that last year during the campaign and the only ones with power or agreeing of such investigation of Trump campaign had to be Obama administration.
Its not illegal for anyone to lie.
But it is very illegal to lie about classified information you have access to to those who do not. This is just furtherance of your INTENT to commit a crime using the classified information.
Why didn’t Trump can him? That’s what I don’t get. I did read about the ashen faces coming out of the meeting with Comey. So if the Dem(on)s know that there is evidence against them, and none against Trump, how do they think they will have evidence to impeach him?
These aholes want civil war. Curse them.
