Tim Allen on Hollywood’s Anti-Trump Thought Police: It’s ‘Like ’30s Germany’

Tim Allen opened up briefly about what it means to be a conservative in Hollywood in 2017 during an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night, explaining that one must be “real careful” in talking about President Donald Trump or else risk being beaten up.

“You’ve gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes,” the 63-year-old Last Man Standing star told Kimmel when asked about his attendance at Trump’s inauguration in January.

Tim, you DO know. But thanks for being on the right side of things. By beat up I guess we mean figuratively for the most part. Probably literally in some gatherings. Me, I'd never make it there since I wouldn't give all the lefties the time of day. Thereby shooting myself in the foot. ;-)

Man, the MSM really did a fake news headline on him!

The headline I read was that he said it was like living in 30's Germany, as if he was anti-Trump!

I am so glad I read the FR article!

I thought the same thing. If I would have walked away after just reading the headline, I would have thought that Allen was a POS.

Tim Allen has evidently had to live in the real world; which
the “Snowflakes” have been spared. I guess the Nazis of the
1930’s also thought themselves to be the saviours & rightful
rulers of the world. Just like present day Hollywood &
academia consider themselves to be. (The grandparents of
these current day “Snowflakes” had to pull up their big boy
pants & drive Hitler clear back into a bombed-out Germany in
order to fix that mess.) It was very, very difficult - but,
take heart, Snowflakes’ hearts are seldom ever really in
sync with their rhetoric.

He has. I graduated with him from Western Michigan U in 1976....back when that area was still pretty conservative.

My mother in law (now deceased) and her family, less ‘Opa’, spent a good part of the last few years of the war in an interment camp because ‘Opa’ refused to fight for the nazis. They “made” him a cook regardless. To hear the stories that my mother in law and her sister use to tell was heart wrenching. Somehow, after they were liberated, they managed to find everybody. So, when some assclowns speak of “nazis” Mrs. rktman gets just a little incensed. Just a little.

My girl has been watching all the episodes of “Last Man Standing” on Netflix. It is a pretty good show with lots of Archie Bunker-like scenes where he is against his houseful of women. He burns Hillary a lot and also does an Outdoor Man video in every show where he has a little monologue. I think most Freepers would like the show.

Perhaps at this phase of the process the term “brown shirts” might be more appropriate.

Last Man Standing is probably the best show I’ve seen.

Highly recommend it. Freepers would LOVE IT.
