I know adoptive liberal parents who are pro abortion. I just can’t understand that.

Sadly I used to be pro abortion myself, before I learned the truth about it and saw it for the murder that it is. So perhaps there is hope for them as well.

Seriously though, people in different situations have had to let go of hate for the greater good of others.
There was a guy who was in a wheelchair because he had been hit by a neighbor driving. SEVEN years later he shot the guy.
Destroyed that guy’s family and his family.
This gal might have HATED the rapist and of course who could blame her,, but the greater good was the child.
And she saw that. So she let the hate go.

But I’m hoping that her attacker got what was coming to him. Since she knew him and identified him, I’m hoping that he was duly convicted in a court of law for his crimes.
Even though I am a man, I agree completely with what this woman is saying. My mother was created by the rape of a 23 year old girl by a 53 year old pervert. My mom was given up for adoption and adopted by a childless couple who raised her with love and provide me, their grandson with lots of love.
It bothers me greatly that so many would argue abortion in the case of rape. In almost all states, have my biological grandmother been raped today, my mom would have been butchered in the womb. I can put a face on that unborn child, know how much love she brought into this world and how much better she made this world, even if she was created via a crime.

While rape is a horrific crime, I think we see that sometimes some wonderful results can arise from a tragic situation.

Thanks for sharing your story, too. More and more children of rape victims are talking about how grateful they are that they were born. This young woman originally intended to give her baby up for adoption, but the Planned Parenthood in her town gave her a really rough time and insisted that she should only consider abortion. She left that hellhole in tears. Thankfully there were pro-life women outside the PP that told her about the other services available to help her have her baby. I am thrilled to see that she kept her daughter. Not everyone can do that, but thankfully she is able and willing. What a great healing story all the way around.
