Restrooms in yacht clubs were labeled “Buoys” and “Gulls”.

There was never any confusion.

There are actually six "common" (and I use the term loosely) karyotypes. That's four beyond the typical XX and XY. But, across the board, "if you have a Y, you are a guY".

I'll start using that too. When articles talk about trans-this-and-that, you have to pay hard attention to the context to figure out if it is a mentally ill woman who thinks she's a man, or a mentally ill man who thinks she's a woman. Have a label like #FakeMan or #FakeWoman would clarify that instantly. It's a nice reading aid.
