Self destruct if opened with the wrong thumbprint. A little thermite device installed would be good. It would also help identify the thief or the recipient of the stolen good.

Well, I agree... I wouldn't even leave spare change in my car in NYC, much less a laptop.
There have been several incidents with the SS during the Obama years... hookers, drunks, and stuff like that... I think Obama lowered the standards a lot.
BTW, thousands of assets including guns, cell phones, badges, and vehicles, were lost or stolen from the Secret Service during the Bush and Obama administrations.
Obama staff kicked it up a notch when except for 2013 the Secret Service lost more than 100 information technology items every year since 2009.
Unbelievably stupid to leave this laptop in her car. She should be fired.

Dan Bongino reiterated what he has been saying, the POTUS is not safe in the White House.
He said that Secret Service personnel are making a lot of ridiculous mistakes. Hammered that the rank and file employees are good but management needs to go.
As for the laptop being stolen, well, he said it’s simple, don’t leave electronics in the car.
As for that laptop, my radar is going off. I wouldn’t be surprised what we learn about what transpired there. An Uber car drops someone off, they walk over to the car and get a laptop along with some other items dumped later. The cynic in me says this is fishy as hell. Comey appearing before congress on Monday. So many things to make one go hmm...
