DID she get fired? I tried to keep track of that story but lost track. I knew she’d been put on “leave” with pay, but not that she’d actually been fired.

Yeah, she was fired.
The only way this could have happened is if the agent loaded the car with her devices to leave, then got a call from someone inside the house saying she’d forgotten something, or she remembered she forgot it herself, or ran back to tip the doorman if it was multi-family, but still doesn’t answer why the NYT is getting away with publishing the contents of the devices. They’re either sending a ‘touchable’ message or they were told to report it (extremely unlikely).
If this is inside job, all DJT has to say is I’m going to Skype my rallies until further notice. He’ll get the same turnout.
More troubling still, why would she have "floor plans for Trump Tower"???!!!!

The floor plans didn’t disturb me because the Secret Service is tasked with protecting the Trumps, who live in that tower.

They don’t make a car, the only enclosed vehicle they make is a motorized rickshaw 3-wheeler and I’m not even certain they sell it in the US. It looks a lot like an old Cushman meter maid vehicle.
